Okay ladies, this means we have to have another g2g before TWOTY. We don't need one after beause all day Sunday, everyone will post their pics and CS will post the winners.

Hi ladies and thank you so much Congrats to all of you also. And wooooo hooooo, what an exciting time!!!! Yes, I did read this thread--maybe i skipped a page here or there but pretty much the whole thing.

So ladies, I have a question...

Where did everyone meet their FH's and how long have you been together and engaged???


As for me, Joe and I met when I was 18 when a friend of mine was dating a friend of his. This is a story and a half but I'll try to give the short version-lol

I met joe in 1997 and we dated on and off (mostly off) until 2002. I met someone else and dated them for 4 years. I always knew Joe was 'the one' and never had feelings for anyone as I did for him. BUT, he was an immature jerk and enough was enough and I had to move on.

Fast forward to August 2006, we talked a little on the phone and one day he showed up at my old office and we decided to meet up that nite. We talked and talked and I decided I was going to break up with my boyfriend and we were gonna give it another try (basically, Joe finally grew up).

So I broke up with my fantastic boyfriend whom I wasn't in love with and Joe and I have been together ever since.

He proposed 11/28/08 and here we are....

Sooooo funny how things workout sometime. But I always knew!!! And I'm probably having 'Told ya so' engaged in his wedding band--lol!!! Us ladies ALWAYS know....

Anyway, time to do some work Imagine....work getting in the way of my wedding planning/chatting....

We met on Match.com. 3 years together and 1 yr and 9 monhs engaged.

FH and I met on Singlesnet.com In May 2006. I knew I wanted to marry him after 3 dates. We got engaged August 2008 and we are getting married Sept 2010.
Definately not as exciting as you story
