SSBride, Lankai, and Panapoli= I just realized we ALL have Flower Michelle for our big day.......John is going to be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off that day, huh???? I wonder how he is going to work THAT out??? I see your times are 1, 3, and 4--then mine is 6.......yikes!! And that's just LIW brides.....what about others? I'm a bit worried now

What do you all think?

how are you doing with planning? As I am reading through this thread, I realized I put a RSVP date of 9/16,

Not sure if this is ok... that is what I was told I should do.. I am a little nervous now!!!

Our RSVP is the first week of September---I wouldn't be worried about 9/16 though....I just wanted to have the extra week or two to 'find' any guests who didn't respond before the final count is due. We have nearly 300 people invited, so that may take some time. If you're having fewer guests, I think 3 weeks should be sufficient.

I also have extreme faith in John---just a 'wee-bit' nervous

I'm sure all will go as planned.

As far as planning--everything big is booked (the limos are booked, but I can't remember the name of the company to save my life--FH took care of this and we're using a friend)

Still have to order invites and BM's dresses.....FH has to pick out the tuxes, need to buy BM/GM gifts, and all the little things (slippers, favors, etc...) need to get done. Starting to run a bit behind....but I'll catch up.

Ok, I'm happy that others feel as behind as I do (does that sound bad? I don't mean it to). My planner says I'm on target, but I feel like I'm slipping... Gosh, this wedding planning is just so much more complicated than I anticipated!!!

Anyone else feeling so overwhelemed that they don't even know what to be doing????

I felt overwhelmed at first.....trying to get to the vendors before they were booked, but now everything else is in my hands. The DIY projects, ordering small things, etc.... So, I feel less overwhelmed, but definitely on a tighter schedule now.

Unfortunately, I am the ULTIMATE procrastinator--so this may be a huge dissadvantage for me. Plus, I have my last two grad school classes this summer and start my internship in the fall (on top of my three jobs)---so a lot of DIY is going to turn into paying $$$ for someone else to do it!!!

Hopefully, Mom and FMIL will be able to help a bit....and FH is super excited about helping with DIY stuff, so a lot of the burden is off of me.

After reading this thread, I feel a tiny bit behind, but nothing that can't get caught up in a matter of weeks. So, I wouldn't worry too much.....it sounds like we all have a pretty good grasp on timing and planning.

I still have to do - favors, shoes, hair trial (on 7/8), BP gifts, programs, book HM (not doing that til Jan though), see florist (I booked her but have no idea what my CPs and bouquets will look like), tasting and pick menu.

I cannot believe how close we are!!! My to do list seems to keep growing instead dof getting shorter!

So... while everyone is out partying and living it up at the beach this weeked, FH and I are cooped up in our apartment on a mission to finish invitations! These DIY'ers are taking ALOT longer than we thought, and we're running out of time.

OMG, three months!

Time is flying by so quickly.

I was home last weekend and got a TON of stuff done. I'll post pics when I get settled and unpacked.

I cannot believe we're at 3 months!!!

I got my veils this week and am heading out right now to get my shoes and hair clips.

The invites should be ready to go out by Monday, and I'm hoping to have them in the mail by the end of next week!!

Right now I'm in the midst of finding jewelry for the BM's. The things I originally bought didn't work with their dress as I had planned, so I'm on the hunt for new stuff...

Can't wait to see the pics if your stuff sunflowers!!

3 MONTHS! I'm starting to freak out a little. The biggest thing on my mind is getting our invites assembled, addressed and out the door.

Do any of you girls have instructions on assembling these darn invites?

I'm also excited about going for my first fitting this Monday!

Ackk! I just picked my invites and should hopefully get a sample next week! I'm not even sending them out until the first week in Aug. Am I that behind?!!!!
