So much done in the last couple of weeks, but still so much to do . . .

We got our marriage license today....
We also finalized the florist
Now we are working on seating chart
I'm still debating on whether or not to do slippers.....

Had my final fitting today! woo hoo!

All we really have left to do is get our marriage license, assemble our programs, pack for the honeymoon and have our final meeting at the reception site.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

I had my final fitting last night too! Still have to finish printing and folding programs, put bows on favors, and do placecards. Looks like I'm in pretty good shape, that is, until I realize a hundred things I'm forgetting.

What day are you girls having your rehearsal dinners? Mine is on Tues. the 4th.

I still have to print and assemble the programs and menus!
I have to assemble the placecards too.
Still have to finish up the favors.
In having my rehearsal on friday the 7th.

I did the program but still have to print them and I still have to do menus.

Oh yea, and pick the DJ music.

Well ladies everything is almost done for me. I just have to pay everyone now. My menus, bells, scrolls, and programs are finished. Also the placecards are done. The hall will be paid for on Thursday and the church will be paid for on Saturday which is the rehearsal. Other than that Im looking forward to next week. I have a three day work week, family gatherings, and a day at the spa. Then I get married and off to Cabo San Lucas. I can't wait. A normal life is almost here.

Holy cow, we're in the single digits now!!!

I never thought this time would come!!!

I leave for NY tomorrow to make sure everything is settled! I am so excited, I can't wait for next Saturday!

I have a busy week ahead of me....still need to:

1) put together 'must take photo' list
2) find songs to dance to with my dad and stepdad
3) print programs
4) complete seating chart
5) put together votive candle placecards
6) decorate slipper basket/program basket/yarmulke basket/cry pack basket
7) make cry packs
8) make table names and put in frames
9) put together my 'bridal emergency kit'
10) confirm hair/makeup
11) pick up wedding dress
12) pick up wedding rings
13) get marriage license
14) pick up Visa's for Mozambique
15) buy bridesmaid jewelry
16) buy groomsman gifts
17) buy my bridal jewelry
18) become Jewish (go to my Jewish conversion ceremony(s))


hmmm...the list goes on.....guess New Orleans really put me a few steps behind!!! Good thing I took off of work this week!!

I have just a few things left to do:

1. Final dress fitting
2. Put together votive placecards
3. Get marriage license
4. Put custom wine labels on wine bottles
5. Drop everything off at hall
6. Put together OOT bags
7. Put together bathroom basket

I left myself an entire week to be in NY before the wedding, so I have plenty of time to do those few things.
My flight leaves from Michigan at 4:55 today! I am so excited, now everything finally seems real!!!

We're down the wire, with a few things left to do:

FInish photography list
Pick up gown
Finish putting labels on OOT boxes
Wrap all BP, parents and participants gifts
Pack for honeymoon
Drop off all suppplies and decoration to florist and planner
Have final meeting with Carltun

ONE WEEK for me!!!!!

Wishing you all a fabulous wedding weekend!!! Enjoy every moment--it won't last long and time will fly!!!

Remember---take a step back and look at the big picture at some point in the night (this is the advice I have received repeatedly from friends and family).....

Diva---my date twin from the start....You are going to be GORGEOUS girl!!! Can't wait to get back from Africa and hear all about your big day. Congratulations!!! We've actually made it here!!!

And to those who may be a bit curious...yes, I did ACTUALLY finish just about everything on that list a few posts up.....well, I'll officially be Jewish on Friday October 7 and FH and FMIL helped finish the rest.....(I will still be making slipper baskets today and tomorrow!!!!)
