I hope so!!!

Actually we've been told that a lot of people are planning their long weekend around our wedding, and are making a little mini-vacation out of it (especially those from OOT).

We shall see...

I have a feeling B/C it's a holiday weekend more people will be coming than not. I have alot of OOT guests, who are attending B/C they have a 3 day weekend. I mailed my invites out last monday and so far I have 20 people who have RSVP'd that they are coming! So far 1 person has declined!

We have so many OOT guests and that is one reason we are getting married on a holiday weekend. I have a feeling that we will not have as many NO's as we think....

I am sending my invites to the calligrapher on Thursday and then a stuffing party to follow.

Let's see...

My invites went out on Saturday and people have been callling me to tell me they've arrived!!!

I have my first dress fitting this afternoon!!!!!

Had my first shower on 7/17 (it was awesome), and will be having my FMIL's shower on 8/20.

We're having a barbeque this weekend with our priest and our ceremony participants to go over everything.

We've had to make a TON of payments lately. UGH!

It's becoming very real... and I can't WAIT!

Hi everybody . . .

In response to the 'No's on a Holiday Weekend question -- I hope it means that we will get more OOTers who wouldn't otherwise not be able to come. (But I am disappointed that Columbus Day doesn't register as a holiday to many.)

In other news . . . 75 days!!!!!!

We are finally done with the invitations and sending them out tomorrow!!! Then we are off to a pre-wedding visit to the FILs. And hopefully doing a bunch of DIY projects there!

I'm pretty sure there will be a shower at the end of the month.

I can't believe how fast the summer is going!!!

invites went out this week......started to get some responses too!!

still have to do programs, menus, gifts for ushers and girls...flower girl, and ring bearer

I don't know when my shower is...I do want to be surprised

Bridal Shower- 8/27

Bachelor'ette'- aiming for 9/30 (traditional week before the wedding)

Dress fitting should be around 8/20

Still Waaaayyyy too much to do!! And not a lot of time. But, we'll find the time to get it all done. Everybody does!!

Majority of Invites out 2 weeks ago (mostly b/c of OOT'rs) I have about 30 more to send out this week.
So far 24 RSVPS, 1 NO!!!

I think my shower is late Aug/early Sept.

Lots More to do...NO TIME!!!!

Still no veil, waiting for my dress to come in (I ordered it in Jan!)

Songlists, favors, Finalize ceremony details, etc...

Im too much of a nervous nelly to have it the weekend before my wedding which was the only other date available. Plus I was surprised to see so many OOT's actually coming for my shower. That wouldnt have been possible if I did it so close to the wedding date.

Ok, I'm getting nervous about my RSVP's. We sent our invites out on 7/16, and people told us they mailed back the RSVP's the day after they got the invites. We haven't received any yet though. I hope the PO isn't losing them. If none come today I think I'm going to start freaking out. Granted, they had to go from Michigan to NY/Mass/IL, and then back to MI, but still....

All right ladies, our invitations should be sent out if they all ready havent. Whats next? I have:
Dress fittings
Bridesmaids gifts
Ringbearer gifts
Reader gifts
make table cards, menus, programs,and placecards
Order my veil
arrange table assignments

I think that's everything, but I'd like to know what all you girls are up to in case Im overlooking anything. 9 more weeks to go!!!!
