Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

Honestly, in my opinion that is ALOT of money. unless ur making a lot and dont really have a budget only than i would spend that much. for me id rather spend that money and a good photographer and extra album etc something SOLID that i will have for years to come, invest in a diamond necklace but for flowers that are going to be there for 4-5 hrs and eventually DIE...nope i wont spend that much...
im probably going to do low centerpieces
im having 350 ppl at my wedding and thats like 35 tables, plus the stage decor, bp, etc which turns out to be alot of $ ...but im not spending more than 3k ...

hope all turns out well

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

nope didnt decide on invites yet. I saw house of dipali had these invites i really liked in red and gold and than theyre are those 'american' style invites too . so not sure which ones im going with.

well i did use house of dipali for the backdrop, the 2 crystal pillars, tulling, and the flowers on the stage....and getting 2 chairs from them

but i will not use them for centerpieces, they are not a florist!

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

nice what are cyrtal pillars? i didnt see that and i love shine! hahaha

i went to flower michele and pedastals.. i love both of them.. decisions desicions.
i booked maureen and claudia pedala for my makeu pand hair.. done with the photo and video.

i saw the invites at house of dipali. there was one that they were selling for $4 but i saw the same one online for $1.35.
i totally got ripped off for the engagement invites we spent about $600 for 100 invites!!!!!!!!!!!! never again!

luvabal who did you go to for cp?

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

no, im not sure of any place that allows you to buy invitations singly, they come on denominations of 50 invitations, 75, 100, 150 and so forth.

But they have american and indian style invitations. if your looking for like red and gold invitations you will find them their.

i havent checked out too many invitation stores yet, so i dont know and im unsure if im even going to use house of dipali for invitations. THey have books, so u can see what you like for urself

hope that helps
