Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Hi ladies,All of your weddings look like such beautiful and colorful events. As a wedding guest who has never been to an Indian wedding before, what is appropriate to wear? Do wedding guests wear sarees or is any formal dress attire appropriate? If sarees are standard, where on LI would you recommend to buy a relatively inexpensive one? Sorry about all the questions!
Thank you in advance!

You can wear something formal like a dress. Saris are usually expensive so I wouldnt advise you to buy one just for that one occasion.
Have fun!

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Hii girls!! I have a question..I'm having my bridesmaids wear chiffon saris and I don't know if I should have them pin the sari up on their shoulder of if they should leave it loose...I like it pinned up cuz it looks neat and classy at the same time I like it down and my bridesmaids are giving me different answers..hehe..so just wanted to know what your opinions were..please reply back..thanks!!
