Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
rk,crest hollow will fall under your budget.. but it is a wedding factory, possibly 2 other weddings going on at the same time.,.. but i love the ballrooms and the possibility of a outdoords cocktail hr(weather permitting).. have you been there before? you should take a look.
leonards does seem gorgeous but for me its a bit much with all the chaneliers... thats just me though..

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
i dont think classifying Crest Hollow as a 'factory wedding' is appropriate... they do a good job at throwing a party, ive been to many wedding theyre and the brides never run in to each other, the food is good [depending on which indian caterer they use] and the bridal suites are spacioussooo many reception sites on Long Island than can be considered 'factory halls' .... im not getting married at crest hollow but i just felt that....
just my opinion

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
hey luvabl, you are right... im just really frustrated with my BM... shes not going above and beyond for us and i feel like i can be treated better, i almost have to fight for my right and every inch of what i want... hence the slight bitterness.... but you are correct in saying that there are plenty of other LI wedding halls that have multiple weddings going on...
but i love my ballroom, the outdoor grounds for pics, the location, the outdoors cocktail hr.... i dont regret going with CH at all....
2 more weeks!!!! today!

JLU -FH called and they said they'll call back... is the price for having it for half a day as opposed to the last 3 hours a big difference?

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
RKI thought Crest Hollow is over $100 ppl at Sat. night especially you want outside cater.
(at least this was what they gave me)
many RH dont' allow outside cater, so check with them b/4 you make your decision.
Leonards told us they don't allow outside cater, they are beautiful but you can't have indian food there...
So first find out what RH allow outside cater first, so it can narrow down your search
