Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
welcome jijii got my eparty jewelry from this place called pashminas in jackson heights, they have REALLY nice stuff but are a little $$.. i went to so many stores and alot looked like play jewelry to me.. but onces i went to pashmina, i love everything there, there are 2 stores side by side, the one on the left is the sari store, and the jewelry is in the store on the right..
i did a quick google search and i think this is the address
7226Â Broadway
Jackson Heights, New York, NYÂ 11372
good luck!

Jiji
welcome!!!
Hi girls, how's everything?
I am still working on my invites..FH is no help.. He gave me the wrong spelling of his parents name, wrong address of RH and we are still debating Gurdwara or Gurudwara...
anyway, so I decide I will do it w/o him
I have a question:
we have to pick a gold jewelry set for his mom, and we went to Jackson height and saw a set for $700 and we love it, so do we need to bargain with the sales? or the rule is cash= no tax?
Since we both never buy the real gold from there b/4...we have no idea and we don't want his mom to know so we can't take any auntie with us....

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
defintelly try to bargain down the gold , they known people are not buying as much, since gold is so expenive.
