Leena07, did u decide on invites. My father thinks the one in india will be to heavy, and would required more postage. I just want to get the invites done also.....jeeez i hate family input

well i got these for the engagement it was 60 cents.. pretty standard for any wedding invite. Plus i had a clear vellum envelope that had the invite inside it. Which one did he think was heavy?

so this is what i am leaning to , i had a hard time pasting the actual site. worry about the fact that when i recieve it that it will be heavy, the envelope, invite, but the rsvp cards , envelope. just wondering.....

In my opinion the one you posted (red) is the same as the one i haf. The outer paper is not to heavy it kinda was like fabric matireal very thin.. and the 2 inserts are thing as well. It should be less then a dollar. Why dont you order a sample and take it to the post office and have them check for you??

and Father/Daughter and later Mother/Son get invited into the same song:

i am ordering my invitations from indianweddingcards, wanted to know should i order pvc plastic to cover the invitation, is it worth it to have, would it make a big difference..

your not being a pest!! ok so i got my invites whcih came with an envelope already. I went to the post office and the lady said i could mail them that way but i didnt want to take a chance to damage them. then i ordered the outer envelope from the website that i mentioned earlier and just stuck them in there.. the postage came out the same. how much are they charging for the pvc sleeves?

i like the idea of the outer envelope, so i probably do this and go to the website and order it....the plastic not something i wanted to have. Charging an extra 100 dollars more, i think it not worth it.
