Ladies, I had my meeting with Ian on Saturday, August 9, and I THINK I saw Hannashim!!

I was walking out at ~6:30pm, and in front of the building was a Hummer limo and the bride was taking photos. I caught a glimpse of the bride (who looked gorgeous!!), and I am pretty sure it was her...I wanted to go up to her, but my FH held me back!

Oh, my meeting with Ian went ok...I personally don't like him. He asked me if I needed direction cards, so I said no, I already made direction cards and when I showed one to him, he said, 'Some brides are really crazy.'
I couldn't believe he actually said that! The direction cards I made were very simple and easy to make, plus what does he care what I do with my time!!

He called my cell phone on a Sunday afternoon and left me a message...we played phone tag a couple of times. I don't have a traditional 9-5 schedule and that made it difficult to schedule an appointment with him because he's apparently very very busy and books up easily.

itsbeen 2months already, I know.
But if I had to sum it up:
Leonards is Fantastic.
NOTHING went wrong at all.
Everything was perfect. They did such an amazing job!!!!
I wouldnt worry at all.

heres alittle a mini things about Leonards

Leonards was beautiful but I must some things bothered me..

I saw like 2 or 3 other brides. I didnt really care about the brides themselves but they had ALOT of things going on which bothered me. its like a wedding factory or something!!!

as soon as I arrived at 6pm(my ceremony was at 7) I first asked my Matrid'd if we can take pictures in the garden and he said ok. so we dropped off our stuff in the bridal suite and started walking out we saw another couple already there taking pictures... since like ALL the spots were taken we couldnt take pictures before the ceremony...

I wanted to take pictures in my reception room before the guest got in there but they didnt even have the room set up until 730(which is when the guests are supposed to come in) they told me their set up was late because there was another reception in there until 700.

another thing was the fact that ALL the rooms on my floor ( i was in the 1st floor) was all full so it was really noisey in the hall from ther other receptions/events.

IF ANY OF YOU GIRLS ARE LOOKING TO DO THE VOTIVE PLACECARDS READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!

also one other thing that caused a problem was my votive placecards.... when I met with Ian told me that the place cards are usually placed in the cocktail hour. I told him that their votivecandles and asked if I can place them outside the dinner room so people can pick them up as they go in.
He said there is no room. then I asked him if it can go in the cocktail hour room and have the guest pick them up at the end. and he said the candle cant be brought into the hall lit because its a fire hazzard..... He told me that he will have the placecard set up right inside the door at dinner.. I wasnt happy but I told him it was fine.. On the day of my DH noticed that the candles were in the cocktail hour and already lit before the cocktail hour started!!!! this caused alot of confusion with the guests. they were looking for their table # in the cocktail hour room!
I pulled the Matrid'd to the side and asked him what is going on and explained what Ian had told me. He told me that he doesnt understand why Ian told me that because they always put the placecards in the cocktail hour. candle or not. at that point there was nothing that I could do so I had to just leave that situation alone.

other than that the food was good, the set ups were beautiful, the matridd was alittle hard to find but the assistant was amazing~ she never left my side =], I heard the drinks were amazing. As long as my guests enjoyed themselves i'm happy

So ladies quick note my wedding was perfect except with the service I recieved from Leonard's... please read below for all the things they messed up on my wedding day... We are in the process of trying to get some compensation...


- Warm Beer not ready to serve to guests
- Small Bottles of beer instead of the regular size bottles they guaranteed us
- They ran out of cake to serve my guests (which I bought from them)
- Told me I had the premium package which included the best of the best in alcohol only to find out there was a 'Super Premium' package we were never told of until my guests wanted specific brands of spirits
- Only gave my guests options of 4 meals when I paid extra money for 6 options***MAKE YOUR OWN MENUS
- Rude wait staff on some tables
- Didn't offer some guests dessert or coffee
- And lastly an espresso machine was brought out for guests as stated but for about 30mins.... for about 110 guests - so that gives what less than 30 seconds each to get some espresso?

Right now I'm alternating between waves of excitement and stress...19 hours to go!!!

I had an early dinner and wanted to check my email one last time before showering and packing the overnight bag.

I'll write a quick review when I get a chance this week.

Wow! Today is your day! Relax and savor every moment of it. Before you know, it will all just be memories. It seems the day just goes so fast after months, sometimes years of planning.

Trust me. Don't sweat the small stuff. The staff at Leonard's is awesome. I had about a thousand requests, so they probably had no choice but to be attentive to me (evil grin)! My maitre'd and other staff met me at the limo. He even carried my train for me. LOL I felt like a superstar. (In my diva-style voice), 'Please, no paparazzi.!. You're too kind fans. No autographs.' I swear. He whisked me in so fast, I was like, 'Excuse me! I paid for THAT paparazzi! LOL

My wedding ended at 12 midnight on a Sunday. I was worried that everyone would leave before then, but they stayed until the end. It was saddening to hear that it was the last song! So, mingle a little, and stay on the dance floor a lot! Party like a rock star. It's your memories and proof that all of your blood, sweat and tears that went it to planning this memorable day, will not be spent sweating the small stuff.

The only thing that really bothered me was the cake. They put my monograms on wrong, and I did not want to tamper with it. But, what worried me, did not bother my guest. Everyone was taking pictures of it (not sure if it was because they thought it looked nice, or if they wanted to show there friends afterwards and laugh at it)! LOL My friends always joke about how I spellcheck everything. They probably said, 'She should have spell-checked her wedding cake!'

I know that line made you smile. So, hold that smile for the rest of your day. You deserve it..

Eat, drink, and be married!

Then, you're going to sleep like a baby afterwards.

Dont worry about Leonards, I had a perfect wedding reception there!

Every hall has its bad nights so read all these posts with an open mind! Also, people's perception of what 'perfect' service and 'perfect reception' are different. Obviously things arent going to be completely what you have planned in your mind that day in general and you will be setting yourself up for disappointment if you think that way.

My staff was exceptional, food was amazing...guests are still talking about it almost 3 months later.

I have NO complaints about Leonards, in fact I feel Bobby went out of his way to accomodate us.

I did not see either of the 2 other brides that night and I did not feel rushed or pushed around AT ALL.

Hello ladies...My wedding on Sunday was great! I was very satisfied with Leonards...there were some minor glitches, but nothing too terrible.

All my guests raved about the entres!! DH and I didn't get a chance to eat ours, so they packed them up for us and we ate them in our hotel room hours later, and they were STILL good!! We had ordered the double-cut pork chop and the filet mignon, and they were both delicious, but the peppers on the pork chop were absolutely amazing!

Guests also raved about the cocktail hour foods, and I was incredibly impressed by the vienese desserts. One complaint my father made to the matre'd was that the coffee arrived well before the vienese hour desserts did, and a lot of guests thought there would be no desserts.

Also, there were A LOT of parties going on that night at Leonards, and we weren't allowed to take photos by the chandelier before/during cocktail hour, but we were given the ok to do so during dinner...we had awesome photographer and videographer who had us done with the photos at the chandelier in less than 10 minutes.

Overall, I was pleased with Leonards and so were our guests!

They are round and they seat 10 people, although I heard you could possibly get bigger round tables that seat more
