OMG I just wrote a LONG *** review on my meeting yesterday and I pressed post reply and everything went away!! let me try to remember everything ughhh!!!

ok so my meeting with Ian yesterday went pretty well

the cake! the style is pretty nice but its butter cream.. the fondant is $300 extra but we figured it will be alot better than butter.. as the filling goes they gave us a bunch to choose from but we decided to go with red velvet for $75 extra (I have something to show you girls but it has to wait til i get home tonight it will help you girls ALOT!! I am going to take it down saturday around 6pm so you MUST check!!! )

now I will talk about menu cards
they provide them so there is really no point in making it yourself.. it size is about quarter of a A4 paper.. and its just plain white linen paper with black ink. they look very elegnant and nice!
I bought all my paper to make my own menus so I think i'm just going to make them myself.

Placecards
also provided by leonards at the brides request but their just plain cream paper with leonards written on it. they were way to plain for me. so I told them I was going to provide my own..

linens.. the basic linens are included (its the lace ones with the flowers on it) the others are extra

MartridD and Bridal attendant
I heard alot of things about how the matridD is not attentive and things like that from past reviews but Ian told me not to worry. he told me that it will never happen

we got the new CH hour menu they added about 4-5 things and they look great~~

we didnt add any stations but I did add daquirs and pina coladas to be passed around at the CH he said as soon as the guest walk into the room they will be greeted with servers with trays filled with the drinks and they will pass them around as the guest sit. it was only a $100 extra so we figured it will be a nice touch that wont put a hole in our wallets

I will add more when I remember but thats all I can think of right now..

I got the same experience with Ian, but I didn't see the menu. I also added on the pina coladas and daqairis, as well. Hurry up and post the surprise! Can't wait!

Those cakes were a surprise to me. lol So, did he talk you into anything extra? lol I am going for my own cake elsewhere. Those just seem so 1990's to me. They are not modern day cakes. Time for them to upgrade on the cakes.

I know tell me about it! the book was soo old!!!


I upgraded to fondant for $300 and I got Red Velvet filling for $75 in the1st picture left side(above).. I figured my florist can stick flowers in the middle areas so they can look better lol

Anyway, i'm in a dilemna over the cake too.. i really didn't like the 'Free' cakes Leonards offer.. but i'm going to go w/ it anyway, i save $.

I have noo idea which tastes better.. i'm not a big fan of butter cream..
I dont recall ever eating a cake with whipped cream..

thanks for posting the pics! i might just go with the plain menus...no one keeps them anyway and they get thrown out at the end of the night

no problem~

yeah I would have gone with their menus but I already bought all my paper and stuff so i decided to make them myself.

they might kill me i tried to cut it as you can tell hahahha

the outside is butter cream btw.. if you want something else its going to cost you
