We went with a cake from another Vendor also...Anyone know where Leonards gets theirs from? or do they make it there?

Also, can someone post the new CH menu items?

For the brides who went with a cake from another vendor did Leonard's give you a discount for not using their cake, did they charge you an extra fee, and how much did you end up spending? I know alot of questions! I just want to see which is a better deal. I mean if I can get a better cake for less money why not! I mean especially since they don't even let you taste the cake which I think is absurd!

When I first booked with Leonards, I asked if they would give a discount if we bring a cake from outside...they said no discount. I didn't ask about extra fees because when I heard no discount, I didn't pursue the outside option.

A lot of other RHs also don't do cake tastings. We are doing a full Vienesse hour, so if they don't like the cake, they can eat anything else they want.

for my room, they are going to open up the walls and it will be in the bridal suite.
usually they dont wheel it in...its usually in another room, or behind the moveable walls.

Spoke to Ian!!!! He called me yesterday on the way home from work and we set our appt for June 2! I cant wait so excited! I will have my own questions to ask him but if you guys have any questions please let me know so I can ask him for you. I will keep you guys posted.

I'm in the Tiffany room as well. I haven't seen any layouts yet but where are you putting your Dj/Band? I was thinking about putting them on the opposite side where we sit.

I had my final meeting with 'Ian the Finisher'......when I told him that's what we called him on LIW he was amused...He's so nice and answered all my questions....he showed me my rooms once more and made me a happy bride If anyone has any questions..feel free to FM me.

lol at 'Ian the Finisher.' Sometimes I wonder why we pay the maitre d' the big bucks, when we hound the banquet managers the most and they provide you with far more assistance all year round.
