How about contacting the post office to be sure. I think they do it by zip code, but double check with the post office. just give them a call.

yeah im gonna have to wait until monday to call and find out. Although i just spoke to fh and asked him and he said zipcode and that they'll get it. He pointed out how this happened when he sent his friend something and but he had the wrong zip and bc of the zipcode being wrong they returned it, otherwise the address was the same and so was city and state. So hopefully

When I lived in Tempe, Arizona, someone overseas sent me a letter with an address of Temple, Alabama (I have NO clue how they made that big of a mistake), but since the zipcode was correct, it got to me!

I'm pretty sure they go by zip code. Try and go on the website (www.usps.com) and see if you can verify it on there, to give you a little peace of mind.

i think the post office will deliver it
u can put a post it on it that says - to mailperson, 'please deliver to NJ-not NY oops-and take this post it off before it gets there! Thanks!'
I write notes on my mail all the time. sometimes i just put 'dear mail man thank you for delivering this mail to my best friend' i do not know if they appreciate it or if they notice notes like this or a post it and my dad works for the post office and i have too, but i still dont know.

Denise, you should just hand write that one and not risk it. Do you have extra envelopes? Also, love the calligraphy!!! Wendy Trout?
