If he calls, definitely go. You might not be ready for the romance, but you could make a new friend to go out and hang out with and maybe either him or meeting his friends could potentially lead you to future relationships!! I hope he calls!!!

I say if he calls go out. It doesn't mean you have to think long term relationship. It would be dinner. No biggie. And if nothing else you might get a great friendship out of it.

I too was in a similar situation as you and I started to date DH about a month after my separation from my ex (Although, DH and I knew each other for 5 years). I think if you are ready, you are ready. Dinner is just dinner and I say go and have a great time!!! I don't think anyone can set time limits for greiving and getting over a relationship.
