Its sorta lame that here in NY we can get everything but we don't have that!

Nora - Don't rub it in that you've been there

I was actually trying to plan a trip to the Mall of America when I found out they were opening a branch there.

Of course I wasn't going to tell DH that was the real reason for going.

Lisa--thanks-- I don't always remember to get the mail and each night I 'beg' DH to get it-- I wont go out at night(too dark and we have bears in our area

and it is at end of driveway) and all week he was like what's the big deal with the mail this week

If he only knew!!!!

Do you want a copy of the one I have? I am not impressed with it at all but it does have a ton of stuff-

OK off to computer so I can get to 'work' all my christmas card stuff is waiting

Embossing--- Does anyone do it? Is there an alternative to the heat source? I didn't buy one yet-- not sure if I want to make the committment --
Any advice?

I haven't heat embossed yet, but I see where some people have used a hairdryer with 'some' success. Check ebay to see if they have them for less $$ then Michaels. Or wait until you have a 40% off coupon.

I have a dry embossing kit which is very easy to use. Heat embossing gives a better 'shine' but dry is definitely easier! Here is a link to a kit: Embossing Kits

ok so now my stuff is exploding--maybe a scrapbooking room is the way to go

Ebay is dangerous-- I can't believe I have never bought crafts on there since I have bought everything else !!!
So now I am searching for an eyelet kit and a dry emboss kit--- do you need the light box?
My problem is the stores by me don't have large scrapbook sections so I really need to find scrapbook stores by me-- since most of the things I see online and it would be easier to see them in person!!!

Laura - I would LOVE to have a scrapping/craft room. Just my own space to do my thing without torturing DH with it. I can leave works in progress out or just close the door.....sighhhhhhhhh

I kind of feel like my office is that space but of course there is never enough room or places to put things

I just went thru all my proofs so I am getting closer-- it is amazing at how overwhelming some of this can be-- but I am loving the end results
The best part is I can see myself improving=spending more money

I can definitely see the difference between my first pages and the ones I do now. I am redoing a bunch of them because I can't stand how they looked.

But tonight I was doing pics of DH's birthday. I totally forgot I aready did them
