6 months tomorrow!! I can't believe it! It is going to fly by!! We booked our honeymoon to Disney last week!! YAHOO!!

We started looking for apartments which is depressing! LOL

I am going to narrow down my invitation pick and order it asap.
We started our premartial counseling on monday with our Pastor. it went well!

still have to do tuxes, order the favors as it gets closer, i have a makeup trial friday, still need someone to do my hair!!

so I ordered my invites...yeah... our RSVP date is October 1st... which is really cute since that is when FH & I started dating back in 1999...

I have Technicolors booked but I have a trial with Pauline from Special Touch next Friday. I really wanted someone to come to the hotel because I know I just want to relax and not have to go to the salon. I hope she works out. Everyone else is either booked or so expensive.

Yes she does. You go to her house for the trial and then she comes to you on the day of. I hope it all goes well with her

Technicolors is so close to where I live so I may check them out...

I went to Dee for my hair and it came out great and stayed in all night. I had Suzanne for my makeup.

I did one w/ a Mary Kay lady and it was awful.......... it was all a scheme for her to sell products... I am suppose to have a trial w/ jennifer from fairytales...it was set up a while ago but I am in the process of growing my hair out so we were waiting for a later date. I just need to hear from her... that's about it...
what about you?
what does technicolor charge for the trial? day of hair? day of makeup?
mothers?
bridesmaids?

I had the trial with Technicolors and then booked them. I loved the way they did my hair but not really my makeup. Everybody else liked it but not me. I booked them anyway because everyone else I called was either busy or way to expensive.
I then found out about Pauline from the knot. She is available and comes to you and her prices are great!!

I have a trial with her on Friday. If I don't like her work I will go back to Technicolors and try it out again.

I forgot how much the trial is but there prices are:
Bride: $50 makeup / $65 hair
BM's: $50 makeup / $50 hair / $25 for a blow-out
Mom's: the same as BM's
I think the trial was $50 for makeup and $40 for hair. I forget now, sorry

Allison,
Your hair trial looked great! Are you growing out your highlights before the wedding? I was trying to decide how extreme I want them to be for the wedding, and your hair looks darker in your trial pics than others pics you posted of you and your FI....
