Your favors look great, we are ordering our invitations this week, I have to scan them so you all can see them. I picked up my tiara last week, and it is beautiful...I am getting so excited it will be here before we know it...Good Luck to everyone...

We registered right after we go engaged. We had people that wanted to get us engagement gifts so that is why we registered. I finally am happy with it. It took a long time to perfect it. I always change my mind. Yesterday I changed my comforter for the eight time

I still need a band, invitations, a make up person, a hair person, a veil, a seamstress, shoes, a florist, and the rings.

On the bright side, we did buy a condo so we now have a place to live.

Hi ladies

Somehow I missed this thread. Anyway, I'm getting married on November 6th. I just saw my proof of the invitations, booked our florist and now I'm trying to finalize some of the honeymoon plans and get quotes for limos.

When are you all mailing out your invitations? My plan is to get them out the day after labor day. Does that seem soon enough? I have an October 4th RSVP date on the invites.

I got the call last week that my dress is in, which is early. I didn't expect it until August. I'm a bit nervous to go check it out to make sure its correct, what if it doesn't fit?

And for a laugh, just 2 weeks ago, my fiance said, 'wow, we're in good shape, we don't have much left to do for the wedding.' I just laughed...he just has no clue. =)

We're not having a grooms cake, but we are also serving tartuffo for dessert along with the wedding cake. Grooms favorite desert is ice cream, so that made him VERY happy.

We got engaged March, 2003, so we already registered, because our e-luncheon was in June 2003. But I have to go back and alter the list. We bought a house in September, 2003, and some things we could not live without so we bought them.

Registering is soo much fun. Even FH should enjoy it. Although I quickly learned why they keep the knives under lock and key...we had many differing opinions during the experience because he wanted to register for everything cool and gadgety, and I was thinking of how practical the items were. Not to mentioned, I'd rather get 3 items I really need, rather than 1 expensive item that I'll only use occassionally!

For Make Up I'm using Jackie at 'I Make Up You' -- I had my trial in April and I loved her. I did not look OVERdone.

For hair, Jackie recommended Carmella. She's a very sweet girl. I liked her and I liked my hair trial, but I'm thinking I might go again for a different style to compare the two. My original style was pin curls set high on my head, and now I'm thinking I might want something softer looking.

Does that sound over obsessed?

I've had two trials and I am going back again because I just bought two more tiaras and two more veils. I am totally out of control

We are not doing a groom's cake. And our RSVP is October 1st and we are mailing ours out the last week in August. I think that answers everything

Oh and my dress came in February. I am going for my first fitting in August. Is everyone else too?
