jennbaby-I'm with you. Another couple told me slimeboy told him he was a Tom Cruise impersonator (puh-lease)! So I guess they will be fighting over him in jail.

I've found video of Marc (from my Dad filming the morning of my wedding) and I'm going to try to post it on my Web site so everyone can see and hear this guy.

I can't believe he was in my house!

I had the 'common sense' as you put it - to read the title of your post. If YOU had the common sense - you wouldn't have 'innocently' pointing fingers WITHOUT all the facts. THEN, you wouldn't have received such a negative reaction. No one needs your 'I-told-you-so' inuendos covered with 'just-my-opinion'.

Don't question my common sense - you should question yours before you start throwing insults around.

Let's not forget why we are here. What's done is done and now we know what we have to do. If anyone wants to give anyone the ol ' I told you so'
Just keep it to yourself and save everyone the aggravation. We got a lot at stake here and need to concentrate on that, not the nonsense.

No one can be blamed for what happened here EXCEPT VideoMaker........let's not forget that.

I agree with Kathy. Why are you two fighting with each other over this. None of us is perfect- and I think we all accept that fact. E-mailing comments back and forth is not helping anyone. We are trying to ban together to help the girls who this jerk hurt. Let's remember why we are all here- to be friends and help one another.

Videomaker drama

Just to be clear. I'm not arguing with anyone (I saw your note above, Denise, but I want to make sure everyone knows this is not between us).

Kathy is right. This has been very tough on those of us directly involved. If everyone knew the half of what we are finding out and doing behind the scenes to catch this guy, you would all be physically and mentally drained.

It takes a lot of time, work, and coopeartion to track down a creep like this, and we truly appreciate the encouragement, tips, and offerings of help we've received from our bride sisters. Believe me, it's nice to check your FM and see a kind note from a stranger just after you've heard about another crime this creep committed on top of everything else and it stuns you even more that he is walking free. Every day we learn more and more terrible things he has done and gotten away with.

From now on, let's just use this space for updates. We still need to get the word out. We know there are other brides out there who may still be unaware that scummy ran off with their money. We want to help as many victimes as possible.

I really feel for all of you who had to deal with that creep and who are personally involved with this whole ordeal. Keep up the good work, and I sure hope you all get your tapes, and he gets what's coming to him

I think you should both consider deleting your posts to each other. When this story hits the news, it is very likely that this thread will be mentioned and people may tune in to see this conversation. I would hate to see our community represented as a bunch of stressed out brides who take shots at each other. I think that this has been blown way out of proportion and that if you take this to forum email you will be able to work it out without publicly attacking each other.

Hi All:

I had no idea all of this was going with VideoMaker, until I received a call today from kathy. I used Videomaker for my wedding on October 4, 2002. I can't believe this bas**** is doing this to brides. I am furious, disappointed and want revenge. I want my video or money back. It's a shame that the most important day in your life when you want memories some ass**** comes along and shatters your memories. He really deserves to pay for what he has done to myself and all the other brides out there that are feeling the same way as me.

Yeah, it's a shame what people do to hurt other people. I can't believe it. I spoke to the idiot about 2 weeks ago and he sounded so sincere, I didn't have a clue, I guess you know never.

I can't believe that someone could scheme and lie like that and hold a straight face. Maybe I'm just too naive. Unfortunately, there are bad people out there.

I too received a phone call today from Kathy. My wedding was on 10/13 and I have not been able to get in touch with Mark either. MY husband is a detective in the NYPD and my be able to find out some other information.
I would advise against trying to get into the house, even if someone willingly lets you in. Anything that may be left 'out on the Curb' is fair game. I am going to try to go out there today with my husband to check out the curb. AS far as any TV programs...I would be more than happy to meet with anyone about this.

Both Mark and Frank (the DJ) video taped my wedding. If anyone finds any video tapes, try and keep them safe. For myself, all I really want is my tape.
