I couldn't remember the second name on the brochure...my fiance passed on our brochure to one of his coworkers, unfortunately he booked with Marc as well. (We feel absolutely terrible for referring them to Marc!) I'm wondering if any of you brides ever dealt with Ray...has he ever been there when you've been there or even picked up the phone? I have some doubts that he even really has a partner.

Also, I'm a little confused about who's who...Frank is the new owner of the house or the DJ/friend... Don is the construction worker?

This might seem like a stupid question but who was having him do construction on the house...Marc or the new owner? If it was the new owner then how come he had to take Marc to court in order to get access to the house, wouldn't he already have to have had access to the house the whole time...especially if he's been doing been doing construction?

I went to 'The Great Bridal Expo' at the Marriott (Manhattan), I'm also a Knot and Wedding Channel member. I'm going to do some research and see if he could have really bought the list from an expo.

Shelley went to the precinct and they said it's a civil matter, and there is really nothing they can do.

A bunch of us have been trying to contact t.v. shows leaving emails and phone messages, no word back from anyone as of yet.

Hi girls i just want to stick my 2 cents in. With everything i ve been reading on this guy,seems to me like someone who is ramped using drugs.The same thing happened with a DJ many yrs.ago i think it was east coast ent.located in smithtown he was on drugs screwed all his brides left and went down to florida.He was later arrested.I can not believe someone would do this to brides and not be screwed up on drugs,unless he just dont have a care in the world what happens to him,or what he does to brides who have spent alot of money or put deposits down.This is just so unbelievable.Good luck to all of you girls hope you get your satisfaction.GET THAT J**K OFF

I just got off the phone with my bank and I ordered copies of two checks that I paid Marc with. They said I should have it some time next week. So we'll see who signed these checks......

I called 'The Great Bridal Expo' pretending to be a vendor and askied if I could buy a list of 'brides to be' that have recently attended an expo in the New York City area and the woman told me that they do not sell lists that they only give list to the vendors that exhibit at the Epos...I explained what had happened with Marc...she looked up Videomaker and Marc Campbell but he has never exhibited with them. How could he have gotten our addresses off the knot or wedding channel, I mean he could just randomly look names up but our addresses shouldn't be posted anywhere?

Marc told us he bought the list because I asked him where he got my name. He made a point of saying he didn't do the shows because they were too expensive.

I saved the brochure from Marc and it has Ray's name on it. He mentioned his partner, but we never met him.

We saw someone at his house but can't remember his name. Kathy is sending us Frank's picture to see if the guy we saw was him.

We have learned that Ray's last name is Estrada. We're trying to track him down.

We called the Economic Crime Bureau and they said we had to go through Consumer Affairs. We're trying to get through to the Attorney General this morning.

Hi Shell,

Did Marc say who he bought the list from, I'd like to complain, I don't think anyone should be selling our information.

I know a contractor who has put in complaints to The Suffolk County Consumer Affairs Office about clients he has had that haven't paid him and then left town. He says it may take a while but they don't stop searching for someone until they have tracked them down. Did you are anyone else file a complaint with them? I thought I read that someone did, hopefully that will get us some where.

I did not attend any bridal shows because I do not live in NY. I registered on The Knot and The Wedding Channel, so one ofhte two must be the sources fo the list that Marc bought. We got our brochure in the mail in fall of 2001. It lists Ray as his partner.

He didn't say where he bought it from, but since tracb13 never attended a show, it looks like he somehow got the list from Wedding Channel or the Knot. We just have to see if they sell their lists to only advertisers or just anyone.

And Congrats to Super Sleuth Kathy for staying on the heals of Fox 5!

Girls-send notes to all your bride friends who may not be on the Web. We've got to find as many people who have dealt with this guy so they can participate on Friday.

Are all of you listed in the phone book. If you have a web site on the knot your names would be there and he could simply look you up in the white pages on long island or done some sort of search with your names. It is much easier to say you bought a list than it is to tell people you tracked them down.

That's so awesome of Fox 5!!! I hope they catch the bastard. I did attend one bridal expo, but as I said before, I found out about Marc from a post made by Mark Kaufman months ago. I never received any brochure until I met with him personally.
