Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I talked to Jen about the insurance issue for vendors and it seems as if they take care of those things from their end, but it would be worth double checking when you meet with her. I think that's one of the reasons that it's good to bring your vendor list to your meeting

Happy New Years Girls...

quick questions for the girl that are having/had their reception in WGP. when i met with Lindsay last week we were talking about flowers. I originally wanted low centerpieces... but she suggested high ones due to the high ceilings...

i really didn't consider this. i don't want to spend so much money on flowers. is it that big of price difference? My mom is paying for the flowers. but i don't want to take advantage of her. anybody have any pics of WGP with low & high CPs?

Mine are low and will be mostly candles. I didn't want traditional flower centerpieces. I think low ones will look just as nice as high ones.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

hello ladies!
we just got home from a busy wedding day.
We met with Jennifer today and those of you who spoke of her on here were so right. She's the sweetest thing.
She totally made up for everything bad that happened with our banquet manager.

I can't believe how soon the wedding is now! ACK!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

question for you ladies,

when we met with Lindsey she said we booked when they still had the old menu, so we have the old menu. She said we could look into switching to the new one, but I never got to see the new one. She said the difference is mostly the entrees. Im pretty happy with our menu and dont think I want to change it, but I am curious whats on the new menu...

TIA

veal chop was standard on the old

it's an upgrade on the new

I had it the night of my wedding, and OMG, it was the best veal chop I've ever had!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

oh, ok then i guess there is a new one after the new

the first new one already had the veal chop taken off and had a choice of 3 salads
the new has 4 salads to choose from

i dont like veal so it didnt bother me LOL
my mom wanted it though but not enough people would order it to pay extra

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

i didn't even know veal was an option...
i don't think i have the same menu as you ladies
some of the salad and desert choices you've mentioned i do not have.
I booked in March of 07... what menu would i have, old or new?

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

ok, there is an old, then there is a new, and now there is a 'newer'

i booked january 07 and i got the 'new' it DID NOT have veal on it
now there is a NEWER
it has small changes to salad and appetizer
no entree changes

veal is an option but it is an upgrade, not listed on the menu; you would have to ask them for it

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

here's a non-pro pic of one of the menus they gave me:

you can just barely make out the entrees, but it looks like

chicken
vegetables
duck a l'orange
veal chop
filet mignon (we opted for not sliced)
salmon
stuffed shrimp
