Hey Janna! Thanks for all the info! So you didn't have the skylight room booked? Ah, but the penthouse room is so beautiful too! It's going to be a gorgeous ceremony.

Aww thanks!!! I'm a little disappointed, as I really wanted the Skylight Room really badly for the ceremony, but the Penthouse I'll take also!!!

Too bad the Dome Room is booked!!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!

So, I finally got another number for Gina (where she can actually be reached in the morning), and was wondering if anyone knew exactly what kind of stuff she'll help us with. I wanted to find out about getting chivari chairs instead of chair covers, and don't know if I'm supposed to call my BM or Gina....

Anyone?

Gina will help you with vendor needs and invitations. I would mention the chivari chairs to your BM

Any other questions, feel free to ask. I'm a little disappointed because now we lost out on having our ceremony in the Skylight Room since there's a party there in the daytime. So now we may end up having our ceremony in the Penthouse instead. (It's either that or having the ceremony in the Oak Room and I was against that since that is where our reception is!!!)

My reception is in the Oak Room too! I am very excited. The Penthouse toom is gorgeous, so if you have your ceremony there, it will be stunning!!

We had Anna do our menu too, and left there feeling overwhelmed. It was certainly not the same treatment we had received from Mike Closs, our BM.

You just have to put this one meeting into perspective, cause it's the only time you'll see her.

So you HAVE to meet with Anna for this meeting??? I delt with her once and was LESS than thrilled (sorry for those who have her).

I was there last Friday to meet with Rob about changing our reception time. I mentioned to him that some of the LIW girls are upset because they have to meet with Anna to do the menus. He said that customarily Anna does ALL final menus and NOT the BM's. But to let him know exactly the date and time of our final menu meeting so that he can be there to walk us thru it. I love Rob! He's an awesome BM!!! If you're concerned about having to talk to Anna, then call your BM when you book the appointment and ask him to attend the meeting with you guys. HTH! I'm getting excited!!! 85 days!!!

Thanks Beth!! Have you been to JT lately? I went and met with Mike C last week. They are adding a new lounge on the bottom floor where guests can relax before the ceremony. It is still under construction but looks gorgeous! Also, the new bridal suite is under way! It is SO exciting and we are getting close!

I've heard there are some reception halls that don't allow you to make your own menus. Can you make your own at Jericho Terrace?

When I was there 2 weeks ago it was just about finished. My BM didn't give me an exact date as to when it would be done but he said definitely by my wedding in June. It looks gorgeous and its 3x bigger than the old one!!! HTH!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!

Are you ladies planning to use the bridal suite at JT? What do we use it for if we are getting ready at hotel / home? Mike told me that I could wait there before the ceremony and also to freshen up.
