Chad.... no wonder... he was my BM and I switched 'cause I didn't feel comfortable with him.

Speak with Rob or Mike.

Or speak with Anthony!!

We had our tasting when we first walked in, and without an appointment no less!! He basically sat us down, started talking to us, and gave us everything the people in the wedding were having, including pasta, chicken scarpiello, creme brulee, etc. We were floored!! But we were told if we wanted to come back with our parents for a tasting we could.

So speak to someone else, I'm sure they could give you more information.

When I first went there I met with I think Rob, whoever is the head BM. I absolutely loved him. I made another apt, and when I got there, it was Chad. I feel weird switching though..... can I switch after I have booked?

I am feeling a little wronged here. I just called my BM and asked him for a food tasting and they told me that if I wanted one I should just come to the Bridal showcase on wednesday. When I told him that my parents couldn't come on wednesday, he told me he would let me know when the next bridal showcase was.

Please give me a rundown of what you did with Jericho Terrace from signing the contract to your wedding.

JennJay....

I spoke with my BM and he told me the same thing... I guess it's how Chad said it... b/c mine said food tasting Wednesday and i had no problem with it.

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!

JennJay.... I am agreeing with the other ladies here. If you waht to switch BMs, that is your perogative, you need to be comfortable. Regarding the tasting, no reason why you should ahve to sample to food at the showcase. From my experience w/ showcases (think since we signed the contract I have been to Oh geez, umm at least 5!) ALL showcases except 'The Big One' (which was in January) are mostly foods served at the Cocktail Hr. Not that the food they serve is bad, just that if you're doing a tasting of their foods, you'd like to sample it all, not just the CH food.

Speaking of the showcase on Wed...who all is going??? I am, w/ FH and FMIL. FMIL has NEVER been there...and we booked the hall in Sept 2004 !!!!!! Can you say NERVOUS!!!! Think FSIL MAY come too!!!!

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!

Does anyone know what chairs they use for the ceremony? Are they regular white folding chairs or just the chairs they use in every room? I ask this because I need to know if it's worth it to get pew bows or not!!

Thanks!

Okay that sux.....that means I will have to think of some other way of decorating the room without going broke on flowers for the pillars / chuppah.

Thanks for the info!

If it makes you feel better, when I initially called my BM Rob and told him that we wanted to do the food tasting, he was shying away from it. Not because the food is bad, but because they're so confidant that you'll love the food that it's just a waste of your time. Nonetheless, FH insisted and said we're paying you alot of money to make us happy so guess what we're having a food tasting. And let me tell you, it was awesome! They brought us samples of some of the dishes from CH and brought us 1 main entree each. They had to roll me out of the hall I was so full!!!

FYI:
Not sure if u knew this but JT uses ur cps as your ceremony flowers as well. I was told that they place them on the columns and then back to ur tables.
Also it appears that they connect tulle from each column.

That depends on your florist. I'm using Flower Michele, and we are getting separate flowers for the ceremony and the reception.

Actually it depends on your cps- not ur florist.

I already knew about that, however my CPs are not exactly conducive to doing double duty in the reception and the ceremony. They would not look right on the columns, trust me!!

oKAY.... HOPEFULLY.... one day JT will invest in some fake ceremony flowers that everyone could use..... I know Leonard's has it and they look nice and doable.

Re: 'Official Jericho Terrace Thread'!

Question for all Jericho Terrace Brides that had their ceremony there. When did you do the rehearsal? When I called, they said that it would just do a run through like a 1/2 hour before the guests were let into the room. FH & I aren't seeing each other before the ceremony, so they said I would hide out in the Bridal Suite & then my dad can just tell me what to do. I just am not comfortable with this. We're having readers & other traditions like that, & I just would like to know what to expect. What do I do??? Please help me out!

Don't STRESS! I replied in your other thread. Weekday rehearsals can be had and I have seen them done.
