It all depends, people are always throwing diff. types of GTG's, so if we want to do one to get to know one another I don't see why not. It would be fun.

I think it would be nice as well as we all have something in common. We could all share our ideas and bring examples of such. Feedback on this idea please.

My FI and I go salsa dancing every weeknd. We go to a Latin night club in Westbury called Sambuca. You are more than welcome to join us if you ever want to.

I've heard negative reviews about that place too, but honestly, I went to a wedding there and it was very nice. Food was good and it was very spacious. Congrats!!!!!!

I live in Queens..So I usually go into the city or the Bronx..But I have been to Don Juans and Ecplise out in LI...What other Latin clubs are out there??

I would love to join you guys if you plan on doing a spanish GTG.

Spanish club would be even better.

For all those that asked I have to change the program info a bit (take out my friend's info and stuff). I will put it on the board and if you can send me your e-mail I will send you the actual word template.

So it seems that a GTG date is in order. Shall we have it on the weenights or weekends? Nassau or Suffolk??

Alvatorra- That's all the one's I know of. Sambuca, Don Juan's and Eclipse. All the other smaller ones are not even worth mentioning they are so gross.

Can it be somewhere closer to Nassau I come from Queens also and it's more difficult for me to get way deep in LI.

Talking about dancing salsa...I can do the basics, but I want to take lessons with FI. So we can dance it up at our wedding.

I want to take FH to lessons too. Although he has learned ALOT!!

There are a few places in the city. My dad goes or used to go somewhere in nyc for a while. I know at Douglaston Manor on Wedn. nights they have lessons. Or something like that...

Hey about going there on a Wedn. night? I can call the DM house DJ (used to be my neighbor) and find out if they still do that.

I LOVE to dance.. esp. salsa, bachata, merengue.. you know.. I hate the cumbia, it's boring,. but I can dance it lol

Hi..About the Salsa Lessons, I just went to one last night in Astoria sports complex, in Queens Eddie Torres teaches there now on Mondays and Wednesday, Its alot of Fun 15 bucks a class

Sambuca is on Post Ave close to the Northern State Parkway. Close to the Old Movie theater that used to be there

Saturday Nights are good most of the times if you geta good crowd but they are re-vamping Friday nights. Hold a sec I have a flyer...be right back...

Friday 5/2- Alex Sensation from La Mega
Friday 5/16- Ladies free admission
Friday 5/23- Reggaeton night

$3 drinks and $3 coronas until 1 am.

Playing the best on hip-hop, latin, r&b and reggae.

The crowd is not 'copa' crowd but it'll do when we don't want to trek all the way to NYC.
