Marcella, I am using the newer version of it but it doesn't have any English in it. It sounds a lot better that the older ones IMO though. Just the sound is a little better (better technology nowadays

)

Hi everyone, I joined the board a couple of weeks ago, and now came across this thread. I am also spanish, I was born in Colombia, and have lived here since I was six years old. My FI is Italian. Welcome 2unatmed. My father is Colombian and i have family coming from there for my September wedding. It'll take you a while to read this thread but it's fun. Enjoy!!! By the way, if you are interested, The brides on this Latin thread are meeting up for dinner on Wednesday May 21st at the Cheescake Factory in Westbury around 7 pm. You are more thatn welcome to join us. Just let me know

Latina- I know they don't take reservations girl but they do allow call ahead waiting. i was going to call about 1 hour before so they could have some tables set up.

Karina for now I am still on going on Wednesday. We are leaving for Lake George Thursday morning so I have to get everything ready before Wedn.

I have a question for those that are having family from Latin America come to your wedding. I know immigration laws vary per country, but family members in Ecuador want to come and they need a visa to leave. Does anyone know how long the process takes for someone to get a visa under the 'visitors' law if they are coming for a wedding? How long is the visa for? Do you think they may give say my cousins a visa if I also include a letter stating they will be in my wedding party? Now these invites, should I make them in English or Spanish?
I will be sending them dummy invites I will make from kits I will buy at Party City. No way am I sending them my nice expensive ones!

My family is investigating in Ecuador to see what the procedure is but I wanted to find out on this side what exactly happens too.
