Re: Paging all Latin Brides
I was born here but my parent's made it a point to teach us Spanish to speak with our grandparents. BEST decision they ever made. I can fluently speak, read and write it.

Re: Paging all Latin Brides
Welcome to all the new Latinas on the board!!!
I am re-thinking the father-daugher song now. I was going to use My Baby You by Marc Anthony since MA is one of me and my Dad's favorite artists but I was thinking more of a Spanish song now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can anyone reccommend a flamenco guitarist? I was thinking of having this for the cocktail hour or for an hour or so during dinner. Any suggestions?

Re: Paging all Latin Brides
my DJ does anything I ask. heheMusic By Michael
Im serious .. ANYTHING
Hey.. is this sad but..
Well I've only ever danced slow with my Dad.
God knows I've NEVER danced as in floor dancing (partners) with ANYONE but Dad. I don't even think .. I just grab on and we twirl around the floor to music and words I dont understand (haha - yo no habla).
Now.. Jim.. he can cut rug let me tell ya.. for a little asian guy.. he's got MOVES! It's embarassing. Other than La Cumbia (sp?) Im kinda stuck.
I can't wait for my Father/Daughter Dance.
But im afraid of my first dance with my DH. I'll be that stiff kid. Not cool.
Speaking of Spanish styles tho.. I am having an Asian themed wedding Red/Gold but I NOT wearing the Asian dress. My girls arent either.
Here's my gown:
I think it has the spanish flair to it.
