Just wanted to tell all the WM girls.... you have nothing to worry about! They were so amazing on my wedding day - my guests are still raving about the grounds, the food, and the service! I will post pics as soon as I get my proofs.Best decision I ever made was having my wedding at WM!

Hello WM brides! I'm a 'wedding newbie'...just started searching for halls last month. My fiance and I really liked WM (judging from what we saw on the outside) and plan to make an appointment very soon.As you can see, the wedding won't be until '09. Do you think it'd be wise for us to get quotes so soon? Might it be more expensive if we book now instead of sometime closer to our date?
We'd like a Saturday night in one of the summer months.
Thanks a lot in advance
Edit: I hope you WM brides don't mind me 'invading' for some advice

You should book NOW 'cus you may be able to get better prices. I'm sure they will raise prices citing inflation in 2009.Go and see what you can get from them and let us know! :)

BTW, for the past brides, what has your experience been with Tip jars, are they on the tables and did you ask WM to have them removed? Thanks!

I don't remember any tip jars on the tables... maybe at the bar, but not on the tables.

Hi All, So I was quoted at $80 pp for Nov. 24, 2007 (saturday afternoon). Is this high for that time of the year? I just want to make sure that I'm not being taken for a fool or something
TIA

The tip jars are at the bar and you can request that they not put them out. I didn't care either way since most guests are served at their table anyway.

I found out later that my FIL told them to take them away. They obliged right away.

that sounds abit much! how many stations are they giving you? any other goodies like wine or chair covers?

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
they didn't specify about how many stations we can have but we have a choice of 18...they said chair covers are included in the price and the only thing that they wanted to 'throw in' was a chocolate fountain which to me was minimal considering everything else...

I don't think that's high if you consider that I paid that price before extras for a Saturday afternoon in June 2 years ago. Because that's a holiday weekend it's a more desirable time which generally leads to a higher price.
