Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

I am not being mean, but if Ines is the little person. She is great.

My cousin had her as her bridal attendant and she did not leave her side...

Everytime they brought food out when we were taking pictures the BP ate it before the food could get to the bride, so she went around the long way(over the little wood bridge) with the tray of food, so none of us would see it and the bride and groom got the first tibs....

They really are awesome...

I have to go there tonight to do my menu... What should I except/bring with me.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

you have to go back 2 months before the wedding to finalize the menu, pick out the linens, cake, etc...

That is what I am going to do tonight.

I know I have to bring a list of my Vendors.... Anything else???

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)

Bring your menu and any selections you have picked out already. Bring your contract too if you like, we brought ours but didn't really need to use it. Just in case they didn't properly mark down your addons, which I doubt will happen, they are very on top of things. Make sure you let them know if you will be feeding your vendors, so figure out how many you will need to feed. Its good to know how many kids are coming as well, just so they get a rough idea. You don't need to give exact tallies for everyone yet. Be prepared to pick out your cake as well, but you already know that.

Just wanted to tell all the WM girls.... you have nothing to worry about! They were so amazing on my wedding day - my guests are still raving about the grounds, the food, and the service! I will post pics as soon as I get my proofs.

Best decision I ever made was having my wedding at WM!

TOTALLY! You said it perfectly!

yay!!! Tell us all about your experience, what did you pick, etc.!!

Well we picked out a variety of hot buffet stations for the cocktail hour and we also upgraded the cocktail hour menu by adding a shrimp display and a chocolate fountain (had to have it) for the dessert! We picked out a beautiful round cake with buttercream covering and little pearl dot decor, inside is chocolate sponge cake with a layer of cannoli cream and strawberries! YUM! We chose all white linens and a gold sash for the chairs. They had a section of our little room (the Hill Room) set up the way we had chosen it and it looks BEAUTIFUL! I cant wait!!!!!!!!
