The Newlyweds Official ' What's for Dinner ?'Thread

Hayley inspired me!

We should start a dinner thread.

I know i can use some ideas! Plus I'd like to start doing a weekly menu. - again Hayley inspired

Tonight: pepper steak and rice

I bought meat that is already cut into thin strips.
I'll probably throw it in the George Forman with some green and red peppers and onions with salt and pepper


how bout you ladies?

well.... the tuna steaks weren't looking so great at the market -- so tonight we're going to have cheese ravioli with my homemade marinara sauce!

we're having breaded veal cutlets with corn on the cob and I'm heating up some homemade pizza my MIL gave us last night.

every Sunday we buy a rotisserie chicken for Monday night dinner (b/c let's face it who realllllly wants to cook on a Monday) plus we'll have salad with it.

tonight we are making Haley's Baked Ziti and salad. I'm also making some grilled eggplant, just b/c they looked good, and I bought one.

Last night we had her honey lemon chicken, and I just ate the leftovers for lunch

Mmmmmm I'm getting hungry reading all of this.

I'm in the process of making a fresh pot of homemade french oninon soup and then we are having
bar-b-que chicken breasts on the bone, harvard beets, corn on the cob from the farm stand and nan (indian bread)

For dessert I made coconut, pecan oatmeal cookies. I'm making DH bring the rest in to work tomorrow.

I guess there are some perks to being out of work for my injury all I have been doing is setting up the new house and cooking

I was going to make simple tonight.. chicken cutlets and mashed potatoes but DH forgot to take the chicken out.. so we are having sandwiches!!!

But tomorrow I decided to make chicken cutlet parm.. and I have never made it before so we'll see what happens!!!!
