Re: Diet time!! post here for support
I was weak. I went to Starbucks and got a VENTI caramel macchiato (sp?) and a croissant. Looks like everyone started their diets today. Am I the only one, waiting until Monday? That's when I'm joining WW again! I can't wait!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
Been on WW for the past 10 months and have lost 42 pounds, it is a great diet. When the weight started to come off I only was able to see it, then all of a sudden it showed everywhere. There is nothing like someone telling you you look great! I want to lose another 20 pounds but it seems to be taking forever! I only wish I would look like those girls in the ad!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
WOW 42 pounds in 10 months!!!
Way to go! I was on WW last year and LOVED it, but I let a big 12 pounds get to my head and screwed up
I'd like to lose about 20-25 lbs by October. I think I should be able to stick to it, not sure if my body will allow it though
I want to look SKINNY in my pics! Not thin... SKINNY! aaaah, can't wait!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
I am holding off until the end of February to go dress shopping because I really want to lose weight before I go to get a dress. I am doing WW. I have done it in the past and did great on it, but unfortunately after meeting FI, I gained a lot back. My motivation is getting a dress that I will look great in.

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
Hi girls! At least I'm not alone in my struggle! I lost 60 pounds 3 years ago and have gained it ALL back! Doesn't that really stink! I also believe that just eating healthy and exercising for the rest of your life is the only way to stay thin and healthy. I lost the first 60 pounds that way...no special 'diets' or pills and it worked. I did ask my doctor about Trimspa, Stackers, and those other 'fat burners' in GNC. He said to stay away for many reasons. He said that they are addictive, and once you go off them you will gain the weight back. And the side effects are awful: heart palpitations, depression, anxiety, and some have been linked to psychosis. All that just to be thin! Eating healthy and exercising is the only way! Good luck girls! Let's keep eachother motivated along the way!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
I was on Xenadrine 9 months ago. It did work. I was eating very healthy, my portions got smaller (the amt they should be!), and I was buffed up. I felt muscle everywhere. I started to see a six-pack coming! What happened?I stopped working out in the summer and stopped taking the pills. For me the pills helped me focus on what I wanted to do and kept me going to the gym. I was eating what I wanted but the portions were not huge. I had more self control. Now I feel like my dog: where I see or smell food I am there in two seconds!
I will probably go back on them to increase my metabolism and help me to eat less amounts of food in one sitting.

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
Here is a tip: Eat slowly. Enjoy your food. Take a couple of forkfuls and then put the fork down. Drink water with lemon during lunch or dinner. Juice is empty calories. After dinner I would sometimes have green tea. My dad swears by it!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
I lost a couple of pounds last year for my wedding. I watched everything I ate and went to pilates classes. and I am still going. Exercise is the key. I felt having a class that I paid for pushed me to go and not miss it. Drinking lots of water helps too!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
Cindy, I totally agree with you, that if you pay for something it will push you to stay with it! That's why I am joining WW. If I have to pay, I will force myself to stick to it! I've tried doing it on my own, no luck!
I think the key is spending the money!
for me anyway.
