Do not join LA Weight Loss. IMO, It is a scam. I used to work for them and it is all about money. WW is the best!!!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
the WW cookbook isnt bad. They use a lot of veggies and the substitutions on stuff isnt even noticable. For example instead of using oil to make cookies, use apple sauce. Use skim milk instead of regular milk.I dont remember what is in the book, but i remember seeing regular foods like meatloaf and chicken and the only thing is they use skim milk in making thigns that require milk.

What about that Hollywood diet liquid? Anyone try that? I've heard that it really works but I don't know. I'm trying to lose 5-10 pounds in month for my e-party. I've cut out all caffeine and sugar and carbs from my diet and I am exercising 2 hours a day!!!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
I have to lose 20 lbs by August for my first fitting!! I have the Firm videos (which work if you stick with them - but they're like freakin' chinese torture). I just bought the Windsor pilates tapes - but so far they're still in the package they came in
I've been on WW before and it's worked - my only problem is finding a consistent meeting to get to. I'll get all motivated and then something will happen at work or life that will force me to skip meetings. I hate that!!!! Plus - half the food I eat is sooo hard to convert in WW points. My mom gave me an Italian riceball for dinner - how many points in that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Good Luck ladies!!!!!!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
Well reality is that I will NEVER look like that picture but that is ok!I have been seeing a nutritionist since mid June & so far I have lost almost 30 lbs. At least another 20 by the wedding would be nice. I will just keep doing what I've been doing and maybe get a little bit more exercise in there.
Good Luck to All of you!!!!

Re: Diet time!! post here for support
count me in too.....i need to drop 15 pounds. Here are some tips that I got from my cousin who is a personal trainer (unfortunately, he lives in Florida so he isn't doing me any good, haa, haa).1. NO WHITE BREAD!!!!! Switch to whole wheat, even whole wheat pasta. Its much more filling and better for you
2. PORTION SIZES!!! Watch them. Pieces of meat/chicken/fish should only be about the size of your palm (good thing I have big hands
)3. WATER!!!! Step up the drinking. You should drink at least 8 eight oz glasses a day. To help prevent bloating add some lemon.
4. Chocolate....ahh, our favorite. If you like York Peppermint Patty's these are great to cure your chocolate craving. They are low in fat and on WW they are only one point!!!
Lets stick together girls - think healthy in 2003
