Re: How big is it- with poll
its deff. under a carat. I have no clue to be honest. I should ask fh. We did what he could afford at the time. He said he on our five year ann we will take the stones and make a new ring out of it something that is at least 2c when we have money.

Re: How big is it- with poll
Ok one thing that annoys me is when someone states their ring size and then the next sentence is, well my hands are very small so it would look ridiculous...PLEASE no need to say that...First of all it looks like you have to justify your ring, why there is no need for that, who cares what others think...Let me tell you people will have negative comments when a ring is small or when a ring is big. If you are TRULY happy with your ring then there is nooo need to give an excuse as, say what size it is and thats it. I don't even mean this in a bad way, i just dont think you need to explain yourself.my ring finger size is 4 my ring is for a 4.5 ring size finger so its a little loose on me, rings that are a little bit bigger dont look ridiculous.

I'm not sure what you mean by this... but I think that the girls were saying that they feel that smaller sized diamonds look better on there small hands.

Because first of all its not true...and I am just saying that when they do that others will get the impression that they have to justify their ring size, i personally dont think anyone should...Be happy with what you have and dont feel the need to make an excuse for it.
When you saying something about ANYTHING you have and then have to follow it with oh but .... If someone thinks its too small who cares about that persons opinion.

I understand what you mean... this is an OLD thread though -- i'm not even sure why it was bumped. as others have mentioned, i loooove to look at everyone's rings, but i don't feel that it's necessary to post the size, color, clarity, etc.

i have small hands too! i wear a size 4.5 ring.... I definitely don't think a larger sized diamond looks 'ridiculous'

yeah i was surprised it was on here too. I dont post my size either, like i said before, you get negative reactions whether its big or small...And as far as color and clarity and all that, i dont even know what it is...FH even asked if i wanted to know how much it cost and i said NO thats not what matters so i have no clue and dont see the need to know.

same here. i NEVER post my ring size, nor do i know the color or clarity or whatever. i just know that my FH designed it and bought it... and whether it was .2 carats, or 2 carats i would love it just the same.
ps -- your ring is GORGEOUSSSSS.... your fh has great taste

I hate it when people start post about ring size.
Especially since no one is mentioning the clarity. You can have a 3 ct cloudy ring thats the same price as a .75 ct ring almost perfect clarity.
So true. The clarity is the most important thing that is why I thank God that DH did his research about e-ring and diamonds.
my thoughts exactly
