Would ladies be so kind as to elaborate on what you dislike about the search feature? It's kinda hard to improve something when you don't know what the problem with it is

One option I'd like to see in the search is where we can narrow. Like let's say I wanted to search all the times I've posted the word 'the', that I could be able to put plug 'the' in the search, along with my name, and the date range.

One suggestion: adding a field for the 'topic'. I have a feeling the reason we can't find items that appear in the topic line is because the search only finds the words in the actual posts. Is that true?

I wish you could 'delete' a thread - if you started it and then want to get rid of it, right now I don't think you can do that without emailing LIW to do it for you.

Also on the search feature - you can't search more than one board at a time. You can only search a specific board, or 'all' boards. What if I want to search NWR and Home ONLY?

I always have trouble posting my pictures. Usually it says they're too big, but then when I use the resizer function, the pictures come out teeny-tiny so that no one can really see them, anyway.

How about the ability to put in a variable. Like say you are searching for a thread that was started by a member who you don't remember exactly how their name is spelled. (i.e., Kris*) and do the same with the text and dates.

i HATE that too! I can never just post a picture, I always have to save it as a jpeg or resize. its sooooooooooo annoying

Ok, this one isn't that bad, but I don't like when the subject line is vague, like:

I have a question

What do you think of

Please help

What would you do

It's like, if you could just say a little more, I might answer the post, but when its vague, I don't b/c guess what? Every single post on here is a person that has a question, needs information, wants an opinion, and if I don't know a little about what you want I don't know if I can or feel like answering!

This gets me too!!!!
If I read a post that was started and 20 minutes after it was started, the original poster bumps it and yells at people for not responding, by making a comment about how many people looked at it, and still no response....i simply won't comment on it.

i also hate those long paragraphs that are hard to read

and shortening words like r and u

and i love when people say long post, sorry, and it's like 8 lines - cracks me up

Another thing that gets me...someone that posts thier review on the BHB board with tons of pictures but NEVER posts it on the review board!! Whats that all about??

Also, too short or too long subject lines.....

'I have a question on Flowers' not 'I have a.... then inside it says question on Flowers'

be specific when posting...then if someone can answer they will open the post.

too long of a post...asking a question in the subject line...then having one or 2 words in the actual message!!

I can't stand it when someone says something costs way too much money - it's only going to land in the trash, use it once, etc. I think it's rude to judge how people spend their money.

I hate when people say something mean in a thread, and then tack JMHO on the end of it, as if because it is their opinion they are allowed to say whatever they want and no one should be offended by it
