Just a quick warning for any upcoming Fox Hollow Brides. Be careful if you are have Eric as your maitre'd and/or Renee as your bridal attendant. If I were you I would either ask for someone else or insist upon meeting with them prior to review your day to ensure a smooth running day.
Sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience, unfortunately same here. I too had Eric for my maitre'd and he was just ok (at least in comparison to my bridal attendant). I didn't have any major issues with him. On the other hand, Alexandra (my bridal attendant) was far from good or even decent. She was pretty clueless all around and kept instructing people to do the wrong things and wrong places to go. At times she would simply disappear (even though she told me it was her job to stay by my side AT all times). I didn't like her one bit and felt like she wasn't experienced enough to handle such a fast paced event. So anyone ends up getting her I'd recommend switching to someone else if possible.

who do i ask about getting our menu personalized?
When you do your final meeting (about 1 month before) ask them to do it for you. This is usually done when you pick your menu.

They tell you that during the FINAL meeting when you drop off final payment and any items that you plan to use during the wedding.

Till you get your paperwork in the mail (which is around 3 months to the wedding) you can address all the questions to your banquete manager. Jen works on all the final details which are finalized 2-3 months prior to the wedding.

Totally AGREE with this.
I had Eric and was less than pleased. I wish I hadn't tipped at all....I took money out of his envelope and should have taken another hundred out.
My children (all at one table) were served food that I asked NOT be served (lobster raviloi) due to allergies. I requested 3 times in writing to have penne a la vodka followed by chicken fingers and fries.
He also rushed the time of my Mariachi performers which caused me to be shortchanged. I had the manager of the band confirm this to me.
NOT pleased at all. I plan on writing a letter to senior management and I suggest everyone else who was not pleased do the same. Thank you for reminding me to do this.
ON THE OTHER HAND....Natalie was my Bridal Attendant and she was extraordinary.

My whole reception was REALLY rushed in general (but that's actually very typical for catering halls and I don't think its specifically the fault of the maitre'd). With that said I knew this from the get go and requested MANY times for the reception to be paced slowly in general. The main course was on the tables for literally 20 minutes before everything was cleared out (which is insane to me). They definitely attempted to end the wedding early (and succeeded). I wasn't too upset because it was a Sunday evening and many were leaving anyway as they had to work on Sunday, but it's a principle thing of course.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Such a shame to hear this. My reception started 20 minutes late.....they used the WGP for cocktail hour for the other wedding.....I was told that it was not going to be used.My vendors had an hour to set up...horrible. I had asked what time the main course would be served so that I could have a dinner show performance....I was VERY forthcoming with the reasoning as to why I wanted the performance at 10.30pm. My performers arrived 30 mins. early to get ready and were told they had to perform immediately. It was 10pm. They were not allowed to perform as the main course was served and that was my intention.
If this was a problem they should have told me when I asked about it.
Girls yet to be married- be forceful with what you want and don't be afraid to speak up! With all this said, the food was great....but I wanted and expected a bit more than just great food.

Truly is a shame to hear that. I truly do sympathize because I went through a VERY similar ordeal. When I arrived to the venue at 4 pm (my wedding was suppose to start at 5:30) it was complete chaos. I think there were 3 events going on at the same time and the amounts of people all around the grounds of the place was just astronomical. With that said I thought Fox Hollow coordinated everything fairly well. I too can confirm that the food was FANTASTIC. I got many compliments about it from everyone and it was a tough crowd (mainly Russian people that know their food and love it in great abundance).
Definitely speak up and demand things because it's your day and it should be PERFECT!

Don't be....overall the place is fantastic....nothing in this world can be 100% perfect and I think knowing up front what the issues could be will make it easier for future brides to speak up and address issues with the management prior to the affair....

Totally agree. Don't be nervous, overall no one will notice- your guests will rave.
For me, I'm displeased particularly since every last penny paid to the Fox Hollow came from my personal pocket. Being shortchanged time and serving food which I asked in writing to NOT be served is an issue.
The thing is, you drop off your things a couple of days before, make your final payment then as well. EVERYTHING happens so fast and also, at that time...remember you're probably picking up your dress, people are cancelling (it happens), there's a million things going on. It's tough to keep your head straight but you need to take all this feedback and remember it so that you can be sure it doesn't happen to you and you have the day you want!
The issues that are raised are due to there being more than 1 event going on at a time.....I'm sure at happens at all of these types of venues. Had it not been for the issues I had, I would have rated them A++.

Well at least I'm glad to hear that we are not the only ones that had similar issues with them. If you had an issue at your wedding, definitely write a letter. If not for anything else it will make you feel better and hopefully we can prevent this from happening to someone else!If you are having your wedding there, make sure you speak up, check everything thoroughly and ask for copies of your final paperwork. The food is great but they tend to take on more events than they can handle at one time.
Funny that when we went in to speak with them they actually admitted that Eric is great at running a party but that he's 'gruff' and not exactly a people person. I don't know about you, but to me it doesn't make much sense to have a maitre 'd that 's not a people person!!

They most DEFINITELY take on more parties than they can handle. It is a business after all =( As unfortunate as it is for us brides.
I found Eric to be overly sarcastic with me (which is totally fine by me on a day-to-day basis I do appreciate sarcastic type of humor) but on the day of the wedding it was driving me insane!
