I'm going to a wedding there tomorrow night. I think it's in the garden room. Is there anything you girls want me to take pics of or check out?
i'm going next week to finalize my menu, can you let me know if anything wasn't so great or if anything was amazing?
thanks!

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Hey Ladies- We're quite close to booking Fox Hollow (hopefully this weekend- yay!) but I am confused about the room pairings. We're probably going with the Briar Fox room. My question is where is the cocktail hour held if you're in the Briar Fox? Also, is the Winter Garden room used for the cocktail hour or reception? FH really likes that room. Thanks!!

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
I think the Winter Garden Pavilion can be used as either a cocktail hour or as a reception room. We are having our reception there, but we are a smaller party, around 100-110 people.I think one of the larger rooms has the WGP as its cocktail hour room, but I may be wrong

Initially our reception was going to be in the Briar Fox, our CH would have been in the Winter Garden room. You can use the Winter Garden room as your reception room but i believe it can only accomodate a certain number of people. I agree that room is really pretty.

Thank you! We're planning on doing a December wedding and I think the Winter Garden room would have such a cozy feel. :) Hopefully it's available for our cocktail hour.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
Another question for Past Fox Hollow brides... Or possibly if someone knows. I know they do all the flowers for the Ceremony and the cocktail hour, Do they do anything for the sweetheart table?

Hmm I wonder if they would put some on my regular tables. I am not looking to go crazy but just for that intimate feeling![]()
I just noticed that they did put tealights on my regular tables in the reception.....I didn't request it but they looked great.
Ahhhh thank you thank you!I was really starting to wonder about this, lol. I was like there are really no windows in the room and i am getting married at night, and when the lights are dim, are you going to even see the flowers??? LMAO
Are you doing any uplighting? I would STRONGLY, STRONGLY recommend it for the Wintergarden. Seriously....it changes the room SO much. It looked like an enchanged forest. I also had tall taper candles and tea lights on the tables. It was like....magic. The lights also illuminated and showcased the glass cieling.
See if you can budget it in...it really changed everything!!!
I don't have any pro pics yet, but I can't stress uplighting for that room enough. It really shows well.
I STRONGLY encourage it too. I did the uplight too for Winter Garden Room and it changed the entire room dramatically. I am getting compliments left and right from all the guests about how beautiful it was. Don't have pro pictures yet either but here is an idea (from guests cameras).

Who did y'all use for uplighting, and how many lights did you have? We are booked with a lighting company, and are having 17 lights in the WGP, and wondering if that will be enough.

I used Glen from Prestige Lighting Events. He was fantastic to work with. LOVED HIM! He did 20 lights for us in WGP. It was just perfect just enough! He lit the rock wall/waterfall too it was STUNNING!

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
There are a few entrees on the restaurant menu that are on their current wedding menu (evidently the 'salmon or tilapia' listed on your wedding menu can be prepared however you desire, like the ones you will find on the restaurant menu). None of the desserts are in the restaurant, though. The apps are similar - I think the wedding mozzarella duet plate is avail at the restaurant. But there was a wedding going on when we went, so they brought us some of the passed h'orderves from that to try.I basically just judged the quality of everything to get an idea, even thought they obviously knew why I was there...... (we were really happy & booked, btw)
Good luck!

I'll try to post pro pictures once I get them to give a better idea. Guests pictures didn't come out that great with non professional cameras and all. I truly think the lighting made a HUGE difference to the room. When I walked in and saw it I was in a complete awe....it looked amazing!
