is it just me or are some of the things on the extras list included already like the intermezzo and dinner stuff?
Yes. It all depends on what you booked from the getgo. Some of the things that were on the extras were already in my contract from the very beginning.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
With 2 weeks to go I still cannot figure out how to address an issue with my favors and wanted to see if anyone had ideas I can use.My favors are music CDs (ala Wedding Soundtrack). I have 110 guests and 75 CDs made. My intention is of course to give one CD per couple or to a single. At first I thought of putting each one under each place card, but for some reason I am not liking it much.
Anyone have any ideas?

They are doing the intermezzo for us without an additional charge. I think it depends on what they throw in. We also got an ice sculpture for free.

If you use very common LIW vendors that have been to FH million times...do you have to provide the insurance/liability paperwork or do they have it on file from other brides??

They wont ask you for proof unless the Vendors haven't work at FH before. When you bring in your list of Vendors (they ask for it for your final meeting) they will tell you if they need to verify any Vendors.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
We went to visit the Fox Hollow yesterday! Our first RH visit! We loved it! Just have a few questions and I know this is the right place to post them!
- The man we met with (Dave) said that for a Fri or Sat evening wedding, the schedule is that the ceremony is at 8pm and then the ch/reception is from 8:30pm-1:30am. Is this time flexible at all or pretty much set? Could I move it up an hour or two? I just feel like a wedding until 1:30 is late and that many guests would leave before then!
- This may seem silly, but what exactly does the Maitre D do? And when are we assigned him/her? I'm guessing Dave wouldn't be my MD? (Sorry I'm all new to this!!!)
Thanks so much!

I am sure the ceremony time is flexible (depending on what events are going on prior). My ceremony is at 5:30 and the reception ends at 11pm.
You wlll have Maitre D who take care of the day of organization and a bridal attendant that takes care of all your specific needs the day of the wedding.

Re: NEW- FOX HOLLOW BRIDES- Question and Answer Thread
I don't think they are flexible on start times. What about a Sunday? I am getting married there on a Sunday because of the same issue with the late start time. We are getting married at 5:30pm cocktail hr at 6pm and the party will end by 11:30pm. As for the MD question, I believe you find out a few days or maybe even the day of the wedding not sure. Dave is a Banquet Manager.

Hi all, I'm new here (engaged a week ago, yay!) but I'm definitely considering Fox Hollow.Does anyone know how early they put up Christmas decorations? I'm shooting for a Saturday in Nov. so I was wondering if I might luck out and get some pretty winter decorations a little early.
Thanks!

Congrats!
I believe they go up around Thanksgiving time. That's what I heard from them when I visited them last November.

They are not really flexible in my experience. They wanted me to start (on Sunday) at 6:30 pm! After loads of phone calls, e-mails and generally me annoying them about it I got them to agree to allow me to start at 5:30 for my cocktail hour (which I'm doing first). 7:00 is my ceremony and reception from 7:30 till 12:30 (though I think it will break up by midnight at latest being a Sunday).

unfortunately they are NOT flexible on times, they run a really tight schedule to accomodate the other weddings. Dave was our BM, and actually just spoke with him the other day!

Welcome! I am having my reception there on a Saturday, but we are not doing the ceremony there. Ours starts at 7pm and I asked about moving it and they said no because of afternoon weddings. I don't see why they wouldn't start yours at 7pm. Doesn't hurt to ask! Let us know!

Hmm,
Putting them with the place cards? Or what about instead of leaving them on the plates. You have the seating chart. Count how many couples and how many singles are at each table and just place them on the table like around the flowers. Welcome New Vendors
