I am SOOOOO happy to announce the invites are completely put together and ready to go!!! WAHOOOO!!!
As in assembled,, calligraphy complete.. and envelopes stuffed as well as stamped!!!

OMG... to know that they are all done- is amazing! I really want to send them out at the end of this week.. but I am holding out till at least next friday

i got my envelopes back from printer yesterday!! i stayed up late last night and put them all together!!

i am going to get one weight tomorrow and get the stamps!!

more one thing checked off my list
also got my e-pic taken!!

and i looked at my count down and wow!!

ladies the days are clicking away really fast!!

FH and I had a wedding convo last night. We decide on a few things and tackled our to do list on what needs to get done and who is doing it!

we have to take a break from buying anything we just dropped over 800.00 to get jeep fixed- i swear if one more thing goes wrong with it -- i am going to set the dam thing on fire and push it in front of the dealership with a great big sign LEMON!!!

we did our food tasting before we booked...but we're going for our cake tasting 9/10 and then meeting with the executive chef after that to finalize the menu (and change some things).

i made my program...it's ready to except we dont have all the songs picked out yet

i still have A LOT of projects though

Ladies, I had an INCREDIBLY productive weekend!!!!!!!

Friday: PICKED UP MY DRESS!!! I tried it on and it fits like a glove! All it needs is some adjustment of the halter strap.

Saturday Part 1: picked up my invitations with the CORRECT wording, along with the calligraphied envelopes.

Saturday Part 2: had a really fun lunch with my 2 Koumbares (sponsors), then went shopping for favors, stefana (crowns) and lambades (tall candles). It is tradition in the Greek Orthodox wedding for the sponsors to buy the favors, crowns and candles; luckily there are 5 shops that carry all these things within 3 blocks of each other in Astoria. We found favors at one shop, crowns at another, and the candles at a third store. It's all so real!!!!

Saturday Part 3: went to the RH to finalize the details for the wedding. Not quite as exciting as I had expected it to be, but got a lot done nonetheless.

Last week both of our moms found dresses and FH picked out the tuxes. So, the only other major things I have to do is meet with the Church and figure out who to use for hair & make-up.

Then it's all the little things (a lot of which I'm working on already)

How exciting but also anxiety-provoking!!

WOW!!! Busy week for the November Brides..

I had my surprise SHOWER on this past saturday!!!! What a blast that was!!!


Glad to hear that your invites were correct!!! FINALLY!!

and Deb- sorry about the Jeep,, sheesh what a PIA to put $800.- out right now.

Kim that was a really cool idea your girls came up with for your shower.

Also for the record ladies I found invitations that I love within my budget. When I got the sample I was so excited. I should have my invites ordered by the end of the week. We are cutting our list finally. This is such a relief .

I also made a to do list for myself based on the time I left and the remaining task.

Hopefully I will get everything done on time.

A few items came off the registry and I decided on my shower dress. Bought a few dresses for honeymoon and I just chose one of them.

Hello my fellow November brides!!

We've all been doing soo much!! Kim that shower sounds great! Such a fun idea...i'm so happy you had a great time! Very exciting that a 11/08'er had her shower!

I feel like everyday now something is going on! I got my letter from the band to pick out our music...oot gable boxes came in the mail...our personalized matches...

our Invites are in! (and i pick them up today!) then they go to the printer!

Yesterday I got baskets to make into centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner...baskets for FH cousins to hadn out the petal cones...

Made 1/2 my petal cones...

FunFunFun!!!

Hi November girls!!!!

I had my shower too this weekend!!!! Pics are in my album, I posted a few yesterday too.

We also ordered FH's wedding band this weekend and decided on favors. And my invites are arriving today!
