What type of vendor appointments should i be having? I met with my Florist last week for a sample centerpiece but I dont know who else I should be meeting with?? Who should I be making appointments with? I already had my food tasting so now I need to finalize the menu, then I need to pick out songs for the DJ, but what else? I am at 98 days and I am totally freaking out!! I stopped doing wedding stuff because my new job has been taking up every moment of my time. Now I feel like I am behind!

Usually photography & videography meetings are set up for 45-30 days before the event (sometimes more, sometimes less).

Also, second and final payments for RH start being due right around the 2 month mark. And don't forget meeting with limo company if you're having limos.

agreed...
if u dont have time u dont have to meet with all the vendors unless u feel the need to go over things or have specific instructions/details...but i would at least call and confirm details (times/locations etc) with all of them just to be sure.

Deb (the origional poster) is not on the site for now due to personal reasons.

BTW- it is not that she 'forgot' anyone, she doesnt get a listing of whom to add.

OMG...I feel like I am sooo behind...my invitations wont be back from the caligrapher until this weekend......YIKES! I am sooo behind...tell me I still have plenty of time....

I just feel like I am so behind. I still dont have a veil or a slip to go under my dress...I am hoping to go to the Bridal Suite in Centereach on Thursday night to accomplish this!

You should be fine- I would not worry about it-I took my to calligrapher in July got them back 2 Weeks ago then my wonderfulllllll FMIL added 3 more couples so I had to email the lady to make 3 more sets for me thank god I left 5 sets with her. and add them to my mess- but I have to say we are stuffed and ready to go. I am not mailing them until after the holiday.

i agree...u still have time. i got mine out of the way because my moh is going away for labor day...then has her sisters b party...my shower...her sister's wedding...so we were kind of in need of getting them done early.

I ordered my veil from Barron's so that I have finished -- as for my undergarments. Not yet. I will be deciding on a slip the day of my first fitting and purchasing the appropriate one right then and there.

I still don't have shoes, jewelery, garter so no worries.

I finally went ot go see my hotel this weekend it was so nice I am very excited.. I also go my baskets for my slipper basket got the organza bags now I just have to put it all together....

I got the organza bags for the rose petals and rice and the baskets to hold them in. FH is going for the tuxes today and

I actually wore jeans and an orange tops (pics in an album)

I wore a orange b/c I knew it was better with my complexion. Plus my makeup person told me the same. She said if you put something up to you and you think you need to wear makeup to pull it off - its the wrong color for you.

On Friday I finished the directions cards (a complete DIY project from start to finish), and started to put together the invitations...I didn't realize how difficult it is to arrange, stuff, stamp and seal 150 invitations! I only finished the domestic ones, stull have to do about 25 international ones, plus a couple of domestic ones for which we JUST got addresses (even though we were asking for them for months before!)

I also have a hair & make-up trial for Sept 14...can't wait!

That's my update for now!
