Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread

I had my wedding there 1/8 and we used the Vanderbuilt room for the reception. I loved it plus I needed the big room becasue my guarentee was 225/

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread

Is it really necessary to get flowers for the sweetheart table in the Astor room? I know they put the candles (which I don't want either) on it..

I am going to use my bo-k and bm's bo-k for the sweetheart table. I am not going to have candles at my table.
If you would like to see what it looks like, you can see hmpena review.

Thanks Nadia, I don't think it's necessary to spend even $60 on that.

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread

Hi Watermill Brides!

Just want to start out by saying I know I don't post too much on these boards, but I read them often and everyone is so nice and extremely helpful! Thank you all so much!

I'm getting ready to send out my invitations and just got a little nervous about something. I have a 125 minimum guarantee for the Astor room and have 180 people on my guest list. If I estimate 20% decline, I'm at 144.

Does anyone know if there is a MAXIMUM amount allowed for the Astor room?

Thanks again for your help!

I am not quite sure what the maximum are allowed for the Astor room but I think you're fine.
I believe one table can fit up to 14 people so if you have 144 , at least you can add one or 2 more table.
or perhaps you can email or call your bm, he will explain to you and give you some suggestion.

good luck

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread

Thanks everyone! I got a little nervous when I saw that we had 180 on our guest list. I was hoping to keep it between 125-150 and it looks like we'll be fine in that room.

I have a quick question for the Watermillies.
Is the menu included? or do you have to make your own if you want it on every plate?
