Do we have to decorate the tables for the cocktail hour or does the Watermill provide that? Also, is anyone just using their system for the music at the cocktail hour?

I believe they will provide us flower for cocktail hour.
I asked my dj and he said I don't need music for cocktail hour since they will provide us music. He said just save our money cause noone will really care about the music at cocktail hour

Don't tell my FH that, he wants a jazz trio for cocktail hour. I just HOPE that it's a nice day so I can have it outdoors.

My FH wants a jazz trio too for cocktail hour but he finally changed his mind . I don't know why he changed his mind but I guess he listened to our dj though.
Since he ( dj ) said that people will busy eating at cocktail hour and no-one will really pay attention for the music.

I hope it will be nice day so I can have it outdoors too.

Does anyone know how to write watermill at your invitation?
Do you guys write The Watermill, Watermill, or Watermill Caterers?
and how about the address?
just smithtown bypass, or 711 smithtown or ...?

Someone told me that we will get direction card from Watermill, so we don't need to write 711 smithtown ...... Is it right?

TIA,
Nadia

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread

Research, Research, Research. I 've been scouring the internet, jotting down ideas, getting prices and building a scrapbook of all the things I like in bridal magazines. Its still a bit too early for me to do things like getting a dress, so instead I'm taking the time to get informed.

PS- TO ALL LADIES STILL LOOKING FOR 'THE DRESS' - Vera Wang is having her annual sample sale December 3rd at the the Penn Plaza Pavillion.

991 Madison Ave., at 77th St.; 212-628-3400

I'll be there just to see what its all about!

That would be bad. My worst nightmare is that i buy something and then I hate it a month later. If you see your dress, and its a real good price or any dress for that matter, buy it and sell it online for a profit. Help it pay for your dress now.

Hey Nadia,
We're putting The Watermill Caterers on our invites and for the address we're putting for the streeet address Smithtown By-Pass. I think if sounds better than Route 347. What did you mean by 711 Smithtown?

I got it from the booklet that Bruce gave it to me. It tells you the address and it said 711 smithtown. I guess it's a street address. I am not sure though.

they were inducted into the CBS2's Shame on You Hall of Fame...turns out he had a lot of small claims cases against him...had scammed on # of flowers for CP's at people's wedding...giving carnations instead of roses..etc. etc. stuff like that. You could probably find the story on CBS2's website
