Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread
Ah ha, so when prestige I don't get some stations, the martini bar, seafood boat and viennese hour. I wonder how much more a person that would have been.

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread
I think the seafood boat is 10 to 15 more per person (not including tax and gratuities. When you have over 150 guests that can add up to $2250 plus $450 for tax and gratiuties!Brian told us we can decide what additions we want to add up to two weeks before the wedding. But honestly - if we have some money left over, I'd rather use it on our honeymoon for splurges.

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread
Yeah I knew that part, but I wonder what the savings would have been if the whole menu was just upgraded instead.I don't mind because I think I have enough CH food, but it would have been nice if the other menu was offered too.

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread
You can always ask... Say you want to upgrading your menu and what would the entire menu cost, chew them down, and then you can get the actual cost.Or maybe another Watermillie can answer how much they paid per plate??
Now I'm curious.

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread
the gourmet menu is +45pp the standard prestige menu (no add-ons - bc the gourmet has everything added on - except the choc fountain)So - for June of 2007 - its $164pp - thats before negiotating of course

I believe prestige menu doesn't include seafood boat, martini bar, and viennese hour.
So you have to pay extra for that.
But if you have deluxe menu.. I think it's already included but I am not sure though.
so Watermill has 3 different menus
Gourmet , prestige, and deluxe.
and deluxe is the most expensive one.

No, the gourmet is the most expensive one. I was at the Watermill last week to make a payment and happened to ask if the gourmet was the best, most expensive menu. The BM that I was speaking with said that the Gourmet Menu is 'top of the line'.

Re: Official 2006 Watermill Thread
That's fine that I have the cheapest menu because IMO it's still a lot of food. Just wondering why the 2 other menus weren't options when I booked..that's all.

For the brides getting married outdoors at the Watermill, do you remember what your BM said about flowers being provided by the hall? I can't remember now if he said they provide the ones in the 'chapel' area.

Yes they will provide the flowers for everyone's who use their chapel and the runner for inside chapel.
They will provide flowers and music for CH too.

Can you let us know what do you choose for entrees? I heard that 'poulet de la princesse' is the best.
and what do you choose for dessert, and fillings for the cake as well?

I think they were sending out a letter but I called first. My parents are away for 2 weeks and I wanted to get it done before they left. I think I am a little early... at least I can get my menu's printed earlier!
