Hi Ladies!!

Does anyone know how early they let you arrive before your cocktail hour???

I have my church at 2:30 pm and then FH and I are going to the Vanderbilt Museam to take pics.. .(that should kill about 2 hrs???)

I am sending the BP to the hotel to relax and have some drinks and having the limo pick them up around 6:00 to be at the Watermill by 6:15 pm.. They by time we get situated we get an hour to take family pics at the Watermill... Is that ok you think??

I agree... And I think the Watermill allows you to get there up to an hour and a half before the CH.

Hi girls - I'm signing my contract on Friday with Watermill. What can I expect? We've already negotiated price and stuff, but is now the time to negotiate other things? Any recommended questions to ask them?

anyone have John as Maitre d?

I used to work there a few years ago and a few of the same people are still there.

they really do wonderful weddings,have great food- and the kitchen is clean (some other places i worked at this was a problem)
You have nothing to worry about with the watermill- they do fantastic weddings

I have a ? for the Watermill brides ....

Im really interested in Warermill, and Im def gonna go with the gourmet menu if I bokk it there ... does the gourmet menu include the choc fountain - or is the choc fountain extra???

I have the gourmet menu also and the chocolate fountain is not included. It is an extra $500 I think. My FH really wants it, so we will probably get it.

The gourmet menu includes a martini bar, 10 hot stations for CH + 2 pastas, a boat with fish, a cheese station, all cold antipastos - veggies, cold cuts, etc.

then the dinner includes pasta, sorbet, 5 choices of entrees, the cake and then it also includes the vienesse hour.

I have the prestige menu, its huge. no need to really add anything, I remember that cocktail hour has a little bit of everything, pasta, hot and cold hd's, carving stations, seafood, fruit ect. The bar is premium open bar - with specialty drinks. I suggest coming up with a signature drink and menu for the bar (I designed one for my sister in laws wedding and it was huge hit).

there is also appetizers b4 dinner, soup/chocie of salads and some other stuff and then we can pick up to 4 (maybe 5 choices for the entree) then for desert there were many choices too, Looks like they are very into presentation too. I also have a cordial bar. I would only add the chocolate fountain...mmmm..prob will do that.

OH and the cake is included too!
