Anyone else getting annoying phone calls from their vendors? I'm not happy they gave both my home AND cell to them. Thank god for Caller ID!

i know tell me about it i'm about to tell them i'm not interested because they are so annoying, esp ada studios.

I haven't had the honor of them yet..but I did get A few florists and DJ's. It's like..look..I'll call you if I want to make an appointment!

The best thing to do with the vendors I think is if they call and you arent interested or even if you have already booked, just tell them. But I have one band calling me who I was getting serious to book and I dont want them anyone. I booked another band. I have to email them at least. But ADA has called me. But we already booked Creative Compostions. I think like any vendor they are anxious for the business. Just call people back or email the company. I do admit the calls are annoying andyou are better off giving just one # if possible so they arent getting you at every # all day long!!!

I get calls from florist, band, and photographer. They just leave me a message since I wasn't home.

New Watermill question:

did anyone else get invited to some seminar with Samantha? Not that I'll be using her..but it says it's limited to 25 couples and only couples are invited. My FH is NOT interested.

These are Watermill Vendors who I've NEVER seen/called/showed interest towards. If I had the option of keeping my phone numbers from them I would. I just couldn't believe the Watermill gave my cell phone number out. That's when I hit the wall of frustration.

i got it but i'm not going. i am not using samantha and i figured it's just going to be the same thing as the weddding showcase with all the vendors there.
besides i would never make it on time, they always seem to pick the nights that i work late.

I am not going either. I don't drive and live in the city and it is too hard to get there during the week.

We got invited but didn't go either. FI was like NO WAY!!! It didn't really matter to me anyway since we're not using her either.


As for the vendor calls it is very common for them to call after a showcase. I always get calls from vendors that I've seen at a showcase. I think all the venues give your name and numbers out. That's why they have you fill out a form to register for the showcase. When a vendor calls I just tell them I've already booked even if it's not true. It just stops them from calling.

I am not going either. I am working in the city so it's kind of hard to make another excuse to go home earlier and I want the rest of my days off to cary forward for next year ( for my honeymoon)

I am using John from flower michelle. He is awesome .

I am going to have low centerpieces and 2 pillar candle for each table
and for my head table , I am going to use my bo-k, bm and moh bo-k around the table.
for the fireplace, I am going to use candle in diff. high and rose petals.

Originally booked J&R TOTAL MISTAKE!!! Now I'm looking for a new florist. I plan to check out James Cress and Sugar Magnolias to start. I've heard great things about both of them. I just wish I would have been on this site before I booked my first florist! It would have saved me A LOT of headache!!!
