I do know I an having two bachlorette parties because I have two set of friends (crazy and quiet). Whatever it is it will be fun.

FH & I went to what was supposed to be 3-4 more RH's and ended up back at Westbury Manor. Didn't realize FH wanted an old style RH so much. Went to look @ Chateau Briand, he drove up and said it's next to a DSW and pulled off. Went to another one and it was right behind the LIRR, I saw plastic lawn chairs outside and said no. Then we found Jerricho Terrace but he didn't like that it was on a main road so he didn't even want to go in.

Anyway, tomorrow back to WM, Hopefuly to book. We couldn't see the Manor or the Garden room because there were parties, so back tomorrow.

We've been looking since Feb or so. The only thing about WM is that the smaller room has a tiny Bridal Suite and I think the dance floor may be a bit small. So we are going to check out the bigger room, there was a party in both rooms. So tomorrow it's empty.

Where have you been looking..need any feedbook on some?

Okay, here is our problem because we are not like nomal people. We want it on the water, we are not flower people so a garden will not make us happy. FH hates country club. No marble dance floor and if the place has a lot of marble the answer is no. Must have separate rooms for the cermony, CH and ballroom. It must be a saturday afternoon, the dance floor must be in the center of the room. There is more, but I am tired of writing the list. Would you believe I have 3 friends who were engage after me and I found their dream RH. I did say we are not normal.

Have you tried the Swan club..on the water, seperate room for the ceremony, CH & reception..But it does have gardens are well..

We are looking at it tommorrow. The thing is FH, FMIL, and I are the only one who live on LI. Everyone one else is 5 boro or OOT. So it does not have to be in Nasuass. We will find the one, but if you tell me what you like I can help you. Nothing like planning a wedding that brings out sisterhood.

I really think we are gonna go with WM..I wanted to try Jericho Terrace but FH doesn't want to even go in there so..I am very happy with WM it's just I need to make a decision on the date and which room so hopefully tomorrow I will finally have a place.

Good Luck with Swan Club tomorrow..the one thing that was a pain to us was it was way off the main road so if your not familar with LI it can be harder to find

Hi everyone!!! I was in Fla for a long weekend visiting SIL and BIL Wow this thread is smokin' now!!!! lol
