Hi Celia...how was your vacay??

It was very good, but it rained alot so didnt get to go on the beach. Did go to the outlets in Riverhead though

On a wedding note- I ordered my unity candle holder. I got it on The Knot and it was on sale!!!

Yay so pretty! What did ya get at the outlets?

Congrats on the candle holder..I tried 2 Walmarts trying to get the clearance bridal stuff that someone mentioned on one of the boards...found nothing except so stickers for my scrapbook..so that was good

That's my summer project...love scrapping! That and my pro album!!

I didnt get anything wedding related at the outlets. Needed shorts for the summer, FH needed sneakers, needed a new griddle and toaster for LI house and got a great deal on Bali's Bra's!! Stuff like that.

Yes I am going to make my unity candle. This is one of the few DIY's that I know I can do.

I think that's great. How about a big book that people can sign and you can really read. Sometime people writing are really bad.

I'm not sure if I can poke my head in here. I was 34 when I got married - I'm not sure if that qualifies me.

I think a guest book is one of those things that may not seem necessary, but actually turns out to be a nice memento. I didn't spend a lot on mine but it is satin and checker designed and is in my china cabinet. I think the pen was more.

Hi girls: Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. I'm heading full swing into wedding planning mode - less than 5 months to go and still so much to do!

Tomorrow I am going to see the second proof of our invitations (hopefully this one is correct) and then FH and I are going to see 5 houses before heading out to a friends birthday party. Trying to find time to buy a home, plan a wedding AND work a crazy job with lots of hours is beginning to stress me out!

FH is going to the US Open on Sunday so the plan is to go shopping with my mom for her dress (she hasn't even started looking yet)!

I know the next 5 months are going to fly by!

How is everyone else's planning going?
