OK, ladies. Are any of you going nuts with weight loss or exercise? I know the older you get, the harder it is, and baby, it ain't easy! I feel like I should be doing more, but I know my body and in order to see any real results, I'd have to do something totally dramatic...which I don't have the time, energy or will-power for...

Besides, I like me some curves!!!

I have a very hard time losing weight. My problem is I just like food. I think I may start Roz's diet. The soup diet.
Roz you looked amazing at your wedding!!

I am sooo bad at keeping my mouth shut when it comes to eating. I was hoping to lose weight before the wedding - I just HATE exercising - Ok, now that I said that, I will go out for a walk!

Okay, this is as far as I can go. I walk to and from Penn Station to my job, which is on 52nd Street and 3rd Ave. If I loose good if not I just can't be bother. I love FOOD and DRINKS. Yes, I have a gym membership at Ballys, if i remember I will go.

That's it for me.

FH had some paid training sessions and as a gift, gave a few to me. Had my first session today....it was so helpful. Learned that I have ZERO stability, and that I need to work out six days a week. He told me what I need to focus on, which was really helpful. He also told me what parts of my current workout I need to lose (bye bye treadmill, hello stationary bike and elliptical).

If you need any helps/tips/inspiration....get yourself a personal trainer, even if it is one session. Definitely worth it!

tomorrow back to work on addressing envelopes.

lots of little things to get done, and they all add up! i wish there was more time in the day!

hair trial was good, i'll post pics if i'm able to figure out how to resize em...lol

the wedding was beautiful, she had it at island hills golf club in sayville, pretty unknown spot but it was really pretty, and the weather was perfect....wouldn't say too much about the food tho...

sent my invites out today too! yaaaaay! now if only mom would stop adding people life would be good!

Yayyy Invites!!!!! How exciting. I've gotten about half of my responses back so far and every day I can't wait to see the mail....it's a sickness

Island Hills IS gorgeous. Too bad about the food. Like all these other ladies I LOVE FOOD!!!!

Let me know if you need help with resizing...I'd love to see your pics!!!!

OK...back to diet and exercise:

FH and I went walking last night!!!! Whoo Hooo!!! I got my butt off the couch and did something!!!! He had to go out later so he drove the route and we did almost 3 miles! Now if we can do it more than once....

My company is pretty health conscious and recently started an American Heart Association walking program. They gave out pedometers and I've been wearing it for a week now. Yesterday was 8,000 steps!!!!

Getting out the door was the hardest part, but it was great once we started walking. Good 'us time', too.

hey ladies....

figured i'd bump the thread and find out how everyone is doing!

lately my stressors have been:

waiting for NOs!!!!! we invited so many people, my mom in particular, and i'm hoping for nos....so far only yeses are coming in....

AND

the fact that FH will NOT wear a tux....and refuses to tell me what he DOES plan to wear....i have to get the tuxes going for the rest of the GMs!!!!!! how bad would it be for every1 to be in a tux except FH?

other than that....getting EXCITED!!!!

how are u ladies doing?

I wouldn't worry about you FH. He knows how important the day is, he will dress appropriately....although I would be going crazy too!

Hopefully those no's will start pouring in. I haven't even finalized my guest list yet, and the invites should be going out!

If the groomsmen are actually going to wear proper tuxes, then pretty much anything the groom wears will look less formal by comparison. I would say to let him pick first, and then decide what the others will wear.
