I'm averaging about one wedding nightmare a week! I totally understand!

I got sooooo much done this weekend...
found a florist...booking this week!
ordered online: my shoes (hope they fit and are comfy, i love them!) RB pillow, organza bags for favors, taper candle holders for all the tables, invisible pens, frames for placecards

Went with 3 BM to pick out their dresses
AND,,,,,,,
BROUGHT HOME MY DRESSSSSS!
Tried it on, and hows this for awesome.....
NO ALTERATIONS NEEDED other than the bustle!
NOT EVEN A HEM
Talk about fitting 'like it was made for me'!
I'm thrilled....I even found my veil :)

Hope ur all feeling as good as I am about 'where' you are in planning. This is the first time I'm feeling like 'I GOT this!'

Lately I have been working on trying to find a makeup person. I think I should have started earlier. Alot of the reasonable ones are booked for my day. Next I may go to Macys and check out the MAC girls there

ohhhh that scares me! i haven't even started looking for makeup! and i think i want airbrushing, i've heard it stays on longer. guess that's my next task!

Okay ladies...I want to take e-pics soon and want to get my makeup done

Who can I contact that is not to far into LI..and does not require more than the bride on the wedding day

Most want a few people and I do not want to ask my bridal party to commit to makeup

I hope that you can get her. From the pics I have seen of other girls trial- I really like her work

I wasn't even thinking about doing that, but then FH wanted to meet with his friend who is a hobby photographer, he wanted her to do our wedding.....

her pics were soooooo amazing, but I wasn't willing to have a non-pro do the pics at the wedding...way to scary for me, i still want to make sure i have all the traditional shots.

so i asked her if she would do a trash the dress shoot and so we're gonna do that abt a week after the wedding....

I'm psyched!

There are many brides who had pro and non-pro photographers at their weddings. Each brought a diffferent style and the pics were beautiful. The best of both worlds.

I agree, have her photograph your wedding along with your pro photog!!! (AND the TTD of course!)

I've won The Bridal Touch by Elena for day of wedding for hair and she does make-up. She is a vendor on LIW. I haven't called her for my trial but I was thinking of using her for both. I have also met her at LIW bridal showcase. She was very nice and willing to do what I wanted and I am a hard person to please. Check her out.
