I've won The Bridal Touch by Elena for day of wedding for hair and she does make-up. She is a vendor on LIW. I haven't called her for my trial but I was thinking of using her for both. I have also met her at LIW bridal showcase. She was very nice and willing to do what I wanted and I am a hard person to please. Check her out.

My make-up girl only uses MAC and she used to work for them - I will try to post pictures & she will come to you & she is amazing!

FH has informed me that he doesnt want to do the cake cutting part. No special song- no feeding each other. Just cut the cake and take a few pics. What do you guys think of that?

I would be somewhat disappointed in that. But....I would not make a big issue of it if he does not want to do it.

FH sounds a lot like my FH - very low keyed!

He is very low keyed. He doesnt like alot of attention. But yet he was the one that wanted the wedding. go figure

C, it's okay, My FH doesn't care about the cut cutting at all. All he said was no hitting each other in the face with the cake. So you are not alone.

That's mine too. He makes every appointment and have a viewpoint. Everything he likes wan't cheap either. Oh well.

Well...first off I am having a blast planning this wedding. Since it's my second, and I have a very low-keyed FH and...a low budget - It's hard to have to say 'no' to such beautiful things.

Anyway, I am getting married at the Swan Club, ceremony will take place there.
My daughter is my MOH & one of my FH's daughter is a bridesmaid.
I have a very, very good friend who is my 'special attendant' Michael, my Fh did not want a big bridalparty so, I could not ask her to be a bridemaid -so, since she has never been lucky in life to find a true love - she wants to help me out in all aspects of the planning.
She went with me to Bridal shows, was there for my make-up trial, constant shopping etc.
So, for her - I am going to get her an embroidery hoodie saying 'special attendant' with a corsage for the wedding. She is also staying with me the night before at the hotel to drive me to the SC

My planning is at the stage now that I am waiting for everything to happen! My dress is in, I am going for my 1st fitting in 10 days (did not lose the 20lbs that I promised myself I would)
my daughter's dress is in, I am buying jars for the candy buffet - We ordered our rings, now we just have to pick them up.
Going to Pedestals sometime in April to change my order & see sample pieces.

Rev. Deb will be performing the ceremony
For the music my song that I want to walk down the isle is 'This magic moment' by Jay Black. Old school, but hey.....I'm an oldie myself!!!

We have the HM booked - 1 week in Disney & 1 week on a cruise to the Caribbean!

I'm sure I'm leaving out so much but..I will jump back on with more things I have done.

Oh, I have not gone to a g2g yet - but would love to!

Nancy we are doing a cruise to the carribean also. Which one are you doing. We are doing Carnival southern carribean out of PR

We are doing the Carnival but out of Tampa - July 4th! Sooo looking forward to it! I love cruises - I was on this ship about 4 years ago & had a blast!

I think your make-up trail was very good. She did a great job. Are you good to keep that look are go darker? I am only asking because something you should have two looks.

I was just thinking of keeping that look. She did a really good job - if I did not have to wear the glasses, then maybe I would have gone for a second look!
