Hi. I am so happy to have found this site. Didn't think it existed and thought about creating one.

I am soon to be 45 and FH is 46. Our wedding is in May. Odd to be this age and yet feel so young, both late bloomers. And, both of us never married and no kids. I was engaged once before but called it off.

Doing fertility testing during this all. Soon as I get married in May, I'll have to really try or go straight for IVF! Would rather enjoy all this stuff in due time but the biological clock is ticking away!!!! :)

Okay ladies, where are we in the planning?

I have decided on have my dress made by one of my friends who designed custom clothing; since I like one thing one dress and something by other. I am going tomorrow for my meeting. Yes i am still having two dresses. Also I have decided to incorporate Suzan birdcage veil into the design. I will post what designs I like.

Married ladies what project are you working? E.g. job, home, personal, please tell we haven’t spoken in a while.

Very exciting! I miss planning my wedding.

As for me - hmmm - still trying to settle into the house. It's been difficult lately since DH and I are currently working completely opposite schedules. He's been working nights and weekends with Mondays/Tuesdays off and I'm a 9-5-er. And it's my busiest time of year at work so I can't take any time off to spend with him.

He'll be off this shift in March...I can't wait.

hi all! Just a quick update, I finish my final treatment on Tuesday. I will officially be in 'suvivorship'.

As much as I had a tough time after my surgery, I have had a pretty easy time with radiation.

Anyway, seeing as how I named the newlywed cookbook, I would like to go to the lunch. (I swear I didn't realize it was an '09 thing).


Hope all is well. There is a cute new little wedding mag I read in the waiting room, it's like Lucky for budget brides. I can't remember the name.

Oh and I have a blog, if you know anyone with breast cancer they might like to read it. www.joinourloop.blogspot.com. My public email is on the site.

I'm not on here very often, but renee has my contact info, I am always up to look at wedding stuff in the city. Who knows maybe I will work at Kleinfeld one day.

As for me. This week has been very eventful. At TWOTY I won a DOC- just need to talk jerrry into it. I found out my ex has startred working in my building- not happy. I also had other problems at work. But on the good not again for you guys who didnt see.... I won the Haiti relief Laptop. I am so excited.
