I am in August! 8/18/06...very excited! I just signed up for liweddings so I am pretty new to this...im sure I will be a pro in no time!

We have only booked the church and reception hall, but are in the process of photographers & DJ's.

So far I have seen Proline and Patken for photo/video, but I have 6 more appointments! I think I might drive myself crazy!

hey jackie - i know - our day is becoming popular... since i saw more people with the same date i called all the vendors i liked.. no more shopping - i liked them and was putting it off..

i put in a deposit for flower michele - john was amazing, sweet, and very knowledgable.. all the florists were, but he was extra nice and helpful - he showed me tons to pics and is helping with ideas b/c of $$...

and i put a deposit with makeup and hair..

im also have app. with the dj and photo this week.. i will tell you all how it goes!!!

now just the dress and BM dresses..

i love this thread - lets keep it going for help!!

My name is Catherine and my FH is Naim. We are getting married on Aug. 5th, 2005 at the Surf Club! I already picked my gown and am probably going to order it from netbride.com ($700 cheaper than Macy's). Already feeling STRESSED about $$. Glad to know I'm not the only one out there :)

Is anyone else worried about the weather? I am getting nervous that my day is going to be as humid as it has been! I don't need anyone getting heat stroke!

Anyway, I have been looking at a ton of Photographers...seen Proline, Patken, Lawrence, Duet, Deja Vu...going to see Sherwood Triart, Glenmar, Devito and Creative Compositions. I was wondering if any of you went to see these vendors and what you thought???

you went to all those places - WOW.. i couldnt handle too many appointments.. i saw fine art and duet.. im going with duet ( a friend also used them)...

about weather - you never know - its a yr from now and hopefully it wont be as humid then this summer...

I think I am making myself crazy by seeing so many photographers, but I wanted to get a good idea of what's out there. Everyone seems to love Duet, but my FI didn't like them!
