I am not an august bride, but I thread crashed. We just ordered a sample kit from cardsandpockets.com and are attempting to do them. Best Man is a graphic designer and is very helpful.. should have it done within 2 weeks I will let you know how it turns out!

Hi!!

I bought my headpiece...I am a little upset with myself since it was much more than I wanted to spend, but I got caught up in the moment and it is GORGEOUS!!

My BM got fitted for their gowns. I had a slight color crisis, but now I am set on charcoal :)

My mom bought me the Lenox Jubilee flutes, but I can not open them up until the holidays :)

Next:

Shoes!

BTW- when do we order invitations?

I am rather new to this whole chat thing but this website seems pretty interesting to participate in. I have the same wedding date as you and I am not even close to having stuff done.

I got engaged mid October and was able to book a catering hall and church. The rest I will start doing after our parents meet next Saturday for the first time. Of course, that does not mean I am not researching for ideas and figuring out what details my fiance and I would want on our wedding day.

Also, we plan on doing our honeymoon in Europe somewhere.

Ladies you seem like you got things under control and you have definitely inspired me to get moving. Two thumbs up!

We are actually going to be having our reception at the Woodbury Country Club. It was most accomodating to what we needed. It was one of the first ones we saw and 7 places later, we went back to that one.
